I looked at many versions of furniture jacks and didn't want to spend a ton of money on what was kind of a specialty item. The set cost abt $80 and include a hard sided storage case. These are true jacks with a rubber base so as not to damage floors and are rated to 400lbs. They lifted my furniture easily for cleaning, installing area rugs etc. They do not move furniture, however with 2 sets (4) jacks, you could put 2 jacks on each side of your item and raise a piece of furniture or household appliance high enough to get a dolly underneath it and move your item that way. Another important feature is the release. These jacks have a ratcheted release, which is way safer, so you can "walk" the height down incrementally, rather than a quick release that would result in an instant crash to the floor. I found these jacks to be stable and sturdy, but certainly common sense rules of safety apply when using them. Hope this helps.

This jack not even can lift 100 pounds, it will slowly sliding back down.

This thing works great. The only problem is the case it comes with. Putting the tool back in. The case is.l not intuitive, in fact requiring a fair bit of trial and error. A pain to say the least when cleaning up after a job.

This tool saved me a lot of extra work while I was installing a heavy solid core interior door! It held the door steady in the exact position I needed it so I could get it stablized and installed correctly. Very happy with this item! I highly recommend it!
