I love that this is great for the small granules and that it is sturdy for scooping. Some of the plastic ones can be more flimsy or just have too wide of holes. It’s also very easy to clean!

I was using another one that had even smaller holes but this is perfect. It allows for the litter to be cleaned well while being easier to handle than the smaller holed ones.

You know how there's always little tiny bits remaining in the litter box after scooping? The little parts that break off of clumps but fall through regular cat litter scoops? This hamster litter scoop solves that problem completely. It's a HAMSTER scoop, so it's on the smaller side, but mesh part of the scoop is able to contain all those little bits while letting clean litter through.I scooped large clumps with a regular scooper, but then went over the litterbox again with this hamster scoop. The second pass with the mesh scooper is well worth the tiny extra bit of effort to have a completely clean cat box.The hamster litter scoop holder doubles as a dustpan and includes a little broom to sweep up any stray bits around the box. It's very handy to have this right next to the litterbox.

This is a great little kit for cleaning out habitats for small animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, lizards, etc. The metal litter scoop allows you to scoop out poop while allowing smaller particles that might be in something like a sandbath to go through. The little dustpan and broom is great for brushing poop and other debris off of more flat surfaces (e.g., our guinea pig cage has a lot of areas with fleece lining underfoot so it is simple to sweep out poop in between full cage cleanings where the entire lining is also replaced). The quality of the items included is good enough that I would expect these to be useful tools for many years. The price point seems reasonable for the quality.

This review is for: Hamster Metal Litter Scoop for Sandbath Box,Stainless Steel Litter Scooper includes Portable Small Broom and Dustpan, Fine Cat Litter Scoop Easy to Clean Small Pets or Reptile Terrarium Sand WasteFor a few of my litter boxes, I use regular clay litter that isn't scoopable. The scoop included in this kit is perfect for scooping the wet litter out of the litter box. The mesh is fine enough that it holds the litter without letting it fall through the scoop. Also, the metal on the end of it works good to get all of the litter off of the bottom and sides of the box.I had some similar little dust pans with brooms that I'm using around my house, so I knew this one would be good as well. I'm not using this as a set, in other words, I'm not putting the scoop inside the little dustbin. I'm using the does pan in broom separately and the scoop is just for litter boxes.Everything is good quality and worth the money.

The scoop to end all scoopers have arrived at my house! My daughter recently moved back in and brought her senior cat with her. He has a hard time with the litter box and the cheap plastic litter scoops are too much work to scoop through all his litter daily. This item makes scooping a breeze. It's ergonomically design, made of strong stainless steel, has a longer handle to aid with grip, and comes with a scoop holder! That I love because sometimes the scooper gets put in a place where it has no business going. It's easy to install the holder and everything can be washed and sanitized as often as you like. This item is durable and made of strong materials. I strongly recommend buying this scoop if you have been using plastic ones. It's well worth it especially for large clumps.

I will start with saying I didn’t read that this was for hamsters or reptiles so I’m not sure what hind of material those use to catch the excrement. I have a cat and we use clumping litter. This is a touch narrow for cat litter box cleaning but it works just fine. The mesh works fine with clumping litter. We use worlds best cat litter which is a bit more coarse than some other clumping litter. That being said the mesh on this is a bit tight with small squares so I cannot sift through a fully heaped scoop. That’s ok I just kind of get the clump to the surface or top of the litter then scoop without filing this scoop to the brim. A gentle shake and the excess falls through. It works good enough. I will also say we have just 1 cat and 2 litter boxes that I clean daily so I’m typically only scooping a small amount everyday. I guess if there were more cats or less frequency in cleaning this scoop would take a bit longer to use.I love that it comes with the little broom and dust pan that doubles as a storage holder. If you have cats you know they are messy with litter so I like to sweep that up when I do the boxes. The little broom is perfect and to be honest that was the main reason I picked this scooper it had a broom, dustpan and storage all in one! The dustpan/storage piece also comes with a stick on clip that you slide the bin onto so it all stays nice and organized. Our biggest cat litter box is inside one of those litter box cabinets and I used the sticky mounting pa to hold this scooper at the back of that cabinet so it’s completely concealed and easy to access for cleaning the cat box.Overall this is a great scooper for our needs.
