I love the openness of the door design, easy open access to food; however, the heating elements are so far from the baking rack. When you toast bread, it takes longer than most, practically baking it instead. Good value for the most part, and small footprint on the counter. Still, I like it enough to keep it for awhile.

This is an AMAZING toaster oven. It looks a bit retro and the slide up cover gives you so much space to remove food or even adjust positions. I covered the crumb tray with foil and have it on the top level for making cinnamon toast or cooking frozen garlic bread (that has to be turned over). Mostly I use it for toast and making open-faced sandwiches. I had rather not use a countertop oven for longer cooking but others have.I love the mechanical controls; there is an audible tick-tick-tick while it is counting and a very satisfying DING when it is done.

We are enjoying our Hamilton toaster oven. We have a small kitchen and this works with our limited space. It works perfectly to make our toast, cook, and heat up our meals. It toasts (4 slices), bakes, and broils!

we had this exact one before getting another. I worked great, but i didnt know what i could and should not cook...i would cook some brats or hots dogs and it got really covered in grease. It is almost impossible to get behind the cover to clean. My wife kept complaining...so i looked at new ones...this model is still the best for the money. Now i put some foil underneath on the botton and on the crumb catcher....and only use it to make non greasy items like cheese crisps, warm up buns....my own mini pizzas using tiny taco shells....works great for things like that. Just be careful what you cook in it grease wise and the sliding door is fantastic.

This is my second of this T/Oven. So nice and compact not too small and not too large . Just perfect for small kitchen counter space Even heat and toast and easy to clean . I strongly recommend this for anyone who look for a small but mighty toaster/ oven.❤️

So, this is your basic, no frills toaster oven. It toasts. Slowly. It has a small footprint which is great for our limited counter space . I don’t “cook” in a toaster oven, but this can handle a baked potato or a foil wrapped left-over. The exterior gets insanely hot; be forewarned.The game changer here is the ROLL TOP DOOR!!I never knew that I needed this in my life!Easy in, easy out, easy to keep clean and I can put my plate in front of it and slide out my bagel. Small victories, ya know?

The toaster oven itself no doubt would be great. It is compact and has simple easy to use bake, broil and toast functions. My comment is regarding what looks like a small bit of rust(?) in the inside of the edge of the door, frame. And what looks like a bit of a dent in the handle. When I contacted Amazon customer service, I was told that yes, this would be considered as damaged however I would have to cover the cost of the courier (min $26) to send it back! I find this to be not right, if something arrives and it is not in perfect condition - this item was $179.71 plus tax so just over $200. cdn. the cost to return should be covered. I was told to contact Hamilton Beach now to let them know, and will see what they say. Besides all of this the unit itself would be great.

This is an excellent unit, and does everything as advertised. Racks, crumb tray, baking pan, and sliding front door all remove exceptionally easy for cleaning. The front-sliding oven-like door makes removal of your food very easy, without the risk of burning your hands or knuckles. And finally, somebody designed and manufactured a toaster oven crumb tray that is incredibly easy to remove and clean.A well-designed toaster oven which meets all of our needs. Well worth the list price. We are not disappointed in the slightest.
