Multiple program options and speeds put more control in operators’ hands. They can choose from 6 pre-programmed cycles, upload their own programs via USB, or use the variable speed dial. With over 8.5" clearance in the working space, it’s easy to maneuver the cup around, and since the splash guard has no sharp edges, it’s easy on the wrist. Cleaning the MixStation couldn't be easier. The capacitive-touch controls help eliminate food ingress, so they’re durable and easy to clean. The smooth, rounded corners and drip tray wipe down quickly, and the splash shield removes for cleaning and sanitization. This unit is great in regards to being able to clean the areas that get dirty. The pan surrounding the mixing arm is completely removable. This was a great design item. Unfortunately, the unit is not designed for ongoing heavy use. It cuts out and stops working, sometimes for periods of hours before it would turn on again. On the back is a resettable fuse but even that wouldn't allow the unit to be powered back on for a while.I gave it 3 stars but if your looking for a mixer to use only a few times a day, it would warrant 4 or 5.
