But before that, the plastic adapter ring (sold separately) slides right inside the housing unit; once that’s there, one of the solo cups sits right on top. The S895 stealth blender excels in terms of power and reliability for one specific purpose: to blend. Up to the largest cup size, the NITRO Blending System (NBS) of the blender blends up the added ingredients in 20 seconds. The #1 and #2 key are already pre-programmed to operate the NBS cycles. With such a system in place, the amount of waste is easily reduced to around 1% to 2%, resulting in hardly any cleanup after every blend.
