Perfect applewood platforms for my sugar glider to be on or chew. They attach easily to the wire cage. Definitely a good quality for a great price.

Two of the Three I received had knots at the end with deep cracks that tiny talons of small birds (canaries like I have, or budgies, finches, etc.) could easily get their claws stuck in and possibly really injure, or kill them if they freak out trying to get their leg loose. If you keep your birds nails impeccably trimmed, risk is less, but still...I don't want hassle of returning, and I happen to have some wood putty that I'm going to try to stuff in the crack and sand after it cures to remedy it. ...I hope it's not toxic to them if they stand on it, BUT: 1) I shouldn't have to do that, and2) if you having chewing birds, I definitely would not try that. I doubt wood putty is edible.ALSO, I wanted round platforms because I have a round cage, and these are sawed flat where they connect, so if you were searching for completely or nearly roundish shape, they may come flat at the connection. On that point, I don't understand why they didn't saw off the knotted end vs the good one (other than that knots are hard, but come on... just use good saw blades....)So, many marks off.The only real plus is that size IS approximate to what was advertised. One a little bigger, one a little smaller, one a little 'squat', but they are made from trees, so approximate is okay, at least for me.However, the gaps/cracks in the wood simply shouldn't be there for products designed for loved pets.

Perches are ok, little small but only come with 1 washer each so I had to go buy extra washers to attach to cage to even use them.

Birds must not have smooth perches 24/7. If so in time they begin losing the scales on their feet which opens them up to sores. It is like a human losing a fingernail if they lose a scale on their foot. Birds can't wear shoes, so they need the scales on their feet skin to help prevent wear and tear due to walking and perching. A bird's feet and toes are made up mostly of tough tendons and bones. My order came quickly and was installed in 2 different bird cages the same day. So far only the Parrotlet has used his but hopefully my Cockatiel will as well.

It was missing a bolt for each platform so they aren’t as sturdy as is I’d like. They are also way smaller than the photo makes them seem. I have parakeets, and only one parakeet will probably fit on them at a time. They like to be together so that kind of sucks. Otherwise the product is really awesome and I love the feel and look. If they’d just fix forgetting 2 bolts and change the photos to show their true size the reviews wouldn’t be as bad.
