This 5” bird perch is suitable for Parakeets, Parrotlets, Lovebirds, Cockatiels, and other small birds.
The 5” size is only available in red.

It’s okay for your pet to gnaw at the perch;

I use this as a replacement for another perch I had. The other one’s not available through Amazon. I don’t think this one’s as nice but it does the job. I like the pink color. It would be good in a travel cage as well.

I'm not sure if it's only my product, but it smells VERY VERY toxic. I put it in the cage, and as my parakeet was avoiding it, I smelled it and it was like a plastic paint odor. Very disappointed.I even tried cleaning it (only with water) but even after that, the smell was still there.

Elvis the parakeet needed something more than cuttlebone to keep his beak properly groomed. I installed the yellow colored perch a week ago and he loves to work out his beak by scraping this perch. It’s a little soft, like plaster so he can scrape some off and for some reason that interests him. It’s just what he needed. I highly recommend for parakeets.

My bird is still afraid of it right now but it's as described. Crumbles a bit and sheds everytime you handle it so be mindful if you have carpet.

My birds love it. They like to sharpen their beaks and rub their heads on it which turns their head pink.... I can't find it in any stores close by me so I am happy to have bought this online.

This perch is a good size for my budgie and he sits on it all the time. He rubs his face on it (along with other perches) a lot, and now the front and sides of his previously white head are a pretty pink color. We joke that he’s been putting on his makeup. It has also turned the bottoms of his feet and the undersides of his tail feathers pink. I wasn’t surprised, since it turned my fingers pink when I put it in the cage—it just seems to be a bit powdery. Other people have said that these perches can file down a bird’s nails, but I’m still going to have to trim Charlie’s nails relatively soon.
