They keep our heads from burning up in the sauna, especially for the bald people in my family. The wool felt is nice and thick. It won’t win any fashion awards, but it is traditional.

I started going to a gym with a sauna and it was drying out my hair.I read that a wool sauna hat would be protective.These hats were 2/$20 and I am debating whether they were worth that.First, as a lover of wool clothing I have serious doubts as to whether this is wool. It definitely isn’t 100% wool which is what they say the hats are made of.The fabric is VERY thin.The style is the typical dorky looking bell shape. I can put my hair up under it. It is a bit large on my small head and too tight on my husbands Xlarge head.Overall disappointed and will look for a quality wool sauna hat on Etsy or the like.

These seem silly (and they look it), but as the listing says, "Extend your sauna sessions without overheating, as these lightweight hats help regulate head temperature". They seem to do that. Who knew?The listing also says made in USA, but the zip-lock bag it comes in says Made in China. With so much coming out of China, I hope this is a tactical error on the vendor's part, not an outright lie.

I like the idea of protecting our scalps and hair from the sauna heat. These hats are well made, will fit any size head and you have a handle on top! The website says made in USA, but the plastic bag it comes in says Made in China. I hope it's just the bag. I love celebrating our Scandinavian heritage, as well as the sauna itself. I never knew we should have been wearing these in the sauna. Wool is great for insulation.

This feels closer to the cheaper hats, than my natural wool one — and the price reflects that. In this case you’re getting 2 for the price of one… or even 2 for the price of half-of-one. My handmade natural wool hat cost 2-3x as much as this pair.The stitching is solid and it performs well.
