I liked the soft but firm seat. The back support was just what I needed to ease discomfort especially for the lower back. It allowed me to better enjoy my sporting event.

It's not often, but I do occasionally attend my nephew's soccer games or go to an outdoor concert. I'm not as young as I used to be so sitting on the ground or on bleachers gets uncomfortable after a little while. I haven't used it at either of those venues yet, but I did give a try on my floor. Before sitting on it, I thought the cushion was going to be too stiff. But after sitting on it for a short time, I realized that that "stiffness" provided really good support (i.e.: my sit bones didn't sink all the way down to the floor underneath). The drink holder is in a little bit of an awkward position, but it is better than having your water bottle roll away. One hint: It took me a little bit to figure out why the cross bar on the top of the seat was pushing into my back. Eventually, I figured out that it moves so that the arch is pointing behind you rather than into you. This stadium seat is nothing flashy, but it is very functional. I would recommend it.
