The box definitely looked repackaged when I received it and watermarks from whoever had it before me are still on the glass. The glass is not tempered, and if it is it’s minimally tempered because the edges are sharp. It feels flimsy and the handles are even flimsier but it’s the only one I could find that fits and that’s the reason I’m keeping it.The one I received is not a product I would recommend.2 stars for fit.

Fits my tank perfectly. Especially useful because my cat was balancing on top of the aquarium and pulling up the air bubbler hose! Now, even if she manages to get on top, she can’t get her paws in the tank. Glass is thick, very sturdy.

Been trying to find a perfect fit for my 55 gallon tetra brand tank and have had zero luck, until I found this one! They fit snug and seem to be pretty durable canopies. I highly recommend this if your in the market for a glass canopy.

Good:- After searching and searching, finally found a glass cover for my TopFin 55 gallon aquarium!- 23.0" wide is a snug fit - glass is fine, but the plastic hinge is a smidge wider. Easily remedied.- Glass has no blemishes and the edges are beveled.- Looks great - huge improvement over the starter kit cheap plastic hood with insanely bright lights. Recommend the Fluval AquaSky LED.Bad:- CHEAP plastic handles that were broken out of the box. See photos above for metal flush mounted handles ordered separately. (XMHF 3" Flat Black Cabinet Pull)- Glass is thin and don't think it is tempered.- Hinge is pre-assembled and is bent 180 degrees to fit in packaging.- The glass panels were also not assembled flush and made it seem like the cover wasn't going to fit. (or shifted during shipping)Overall, I recommend and would purchase again.

Perfect Design exactly what I needed. I was worried about the handles because I didn't want handles but it comes with the handles as adhesive so you can place them when and where you want to, so that was awesome for me because I only want one side to open. I haven't set up the back part yet on the tubing side but it looks easy enough.

Works good, I like that I can cut the plastic back bit to fit cords and filtration, and having an extra is really nice. Looks clean and sleek, not heavy, and it fits the dimensions listed.
