They look great and with the higher gear ratio, they'll hold a tune much better. I did have to use a special awl to start the holes for the screws since the hole pattern did not match my old tuning machines. My old machines were the cheap Chinese kind with two screws holding a metal cover. On one of them the screw holding the thumb tab had fallen out and the pinion gear had become stripped. But these only need one screw to keep the machine from spinning since they use a threaded shaft sleeve through the guitar head - my old ones just used a plastic bushing).

They fit fine and look good. I replaced the chrome Grovers with these because I'm switching all hardware to gold. Plus I wanted the 1/21 ratio. They turn smoothly with no play. I could recommend.

This work fine and are sturdy. I have not had any problems with intonation. They have a tiny bit of "wiggle" when compared to Gotoh or Grover, but nothing that affects performance. Don't get me wrong; they don't rattle or wander at all, just not "super solid and tight" mechanism movement compared to Grover.

I love the high gear ratio. Easy to get fine tuned.

I bought these to replace the failing tuners on my ‘not expensive’ guitar. Although the tuners on this guitar lasted a few years , it had rusted and had bent and cracked. So I wanted something that is solid, reliable and value for money. I actually got it fixed through a guitar tech, and he mentioned this is a solid brand and he has a bunch of them that he uses for guitar repairs. Very happy with it, guitar feels great again!

So I'm not sure on the stability yet just got them, but they seem good quality on thing is 1:21 gear ratio might be a bit much. 1:18 or 1:19 seems the sweet spot for me. The 1:21 makes it more accurate but also a bit of twisting going on when you're stringing up new strings. Also very fine changes so have to move the peg more than I'm used to, other than that great for the price really.
