I bought the cheaper all black set from this same manufacturer for a cheaper guitar of mine. I was so impressed that I bought a second shiny gold set to replace the tuners on my #1 acoustic. Basically I love those because they are the only affordable classical guitar tuners that have bearings, and those bearings make a night and day difference compared to tuners that just sit in the holes with all the friction that comes with that.My guitars play so much more in tune now. I thought there was something wrong with the nut slots on my #1 guitar because it always seemed like the pitch slipped up or down on the G and A strings right after I tune it. (Yes my guitar has an A string. I tune it in fifths like a mandocello.) but it turns out there was nothing wrong with the nut because as soon as I switched from the stock tuners to these tuners, it works perfectly.Note: don’t worry if the screw holes don’t line up between the new tuners and the old ones. For centuries Violins and Cellos have been tuned with pegs that aren’t held in by any fasteners at all and they work fine. I usually find one or two of the screw holes line up and that’s enough to keep the tubers from falling out while I change the strings. After the strings are on, the string tension holds the tuners in place so you don’t need all the screws. You could easily get by just fine with zero screws if you had to.

Creo que son muy buenos clavijeros, con prestaciones que solo ofrecen marcas muy caras que pueden costar 5 veces más que estos. Altamente recomendados!

These are good mechanism and fit ok , did have to make some holes on the guitar , the tuners white pieces are just plastic,Im not sure why they are described as Jade. If they were stone it'd be great I had hoped they were. For the money they are good but at the price they are usually of a similar quality.

These tuning machines have ball bearing rings on the ends of the string shafts! It makes a big difference in smoothness versus the solid shafts that most cheap tuners have. The ornamentation on the plates appears to be real engraving. If I didn't know the price I would guess these were in the $100 range. The gears appear to be good, but time will tell how they last. I bought these for myself but I would certainly put them on a customer's guitar.

I replaced some standard tuners on a Francisco Navarro Garcia student model. The old ones were not ball bearing type and they were over 10 yrs old.The screw holes were not exactly the same ,,,I think I had to drill 2 new holes. Now it stays in tune much better.I don't think you can find ball bearing tuners at this price.

Well so far so good. They fit perfectly into my classical guitar. 18:1 not bad for the price.

I own a 2012 Ramirez classical guitar, the 125 Anos model, and three of the plastic pegs on the tuning machine developed cracks and needed to be replaced. Ramirez's recommended replacement was about one hundred fifty dollars including shipping. I found these Guyker Classical Guitar Tuners, with the metal pegs, to be a suitable and more affordable replacement. They match the quality of the original tuners, though the two middle screw holes did not line up with the original and had to be re-drilled. I actually used the original tuner's screws instead of the ones that came in this package. An easy fix, and they look great on the guitar. The tuning mechanism on these Guykers are smooth as butter, plus they are 1:18 gear ratio. Highly recommended.

These tuning machines are as smooth as butter and stable as well; a big upgrade to the stock tuners. One thing to note, and not limited to these tuners: when replacing the original tuners on your classical guitar, make sure the holes for the mounting screws line up with the holes in the tuners. If they don't line up perfectly, fill in the original holes with wood putty, then use a punch to mark the locations of the holes on the headstock for the new tuners. If the holes for the mounting screws don't line up, the tuners may stick and be hard to turn -- even if the tuners appear to fit normally.
