Decent tuners for the money.

Definitely less expensive than some of the bigger brand names for tuners, but just as high quality. They feel as nice as the Fender American Standard tuners I installed on my Strat. Was easy enough to install even with having to put new holes in the acoustic these went onto

Great tuners, as described, arrived on time, well packaged and presented. Used on Firebird style guitar project. Work very well, nice and smooth in operation. Good value for money. Recommended

These Guyker Locking Tuners are solidly built and they look fantastic! They were an absolutely perfect drop-in fit for my Eart NK-C1 Telecaster. The tuning pegs have zero slop in them. They operate smoothly and they are holding tune very well. The fit and finish is exceptional! They may not be quite as smooth as a set of Gotoh 510s but for 1/3 the price if your not a brand name snob, you will be thrilled with them. Buy a set for your Eart or your Squire or your Firefly and you'll never regret it! The old saying "You get what you pay for might be true in some cases but it just ain't true anymore in the guitar world!!!DennisUPDATE: Admitting your wrong is never an easy thing to do but when you find you are in error, the right thing to do is admit it and correct your mistakes as best you can. In the above review, I led you to believe that these tuners were almost as good as their high end counterparts. Unfortunately I have since found this not to be the case. After about a week or so of use several of the tuners started to tighten up so much that that you needed to be a bear with a vice grips to operate them. They also turned out to have more than a fair amount of slack in them. Since then I have purchased a set of Gotoh 510 series locking tuners and there is a world of difference!!! I apologize for jumping the gun on this one. In the future I will spend a little more time using the products that I review before endorsing them.Sincerely,Dennis

Volle Kaufempfehlung!

I decided to give these value priced locking tuners a whirl. They look and feel great before installation, and they're small and lightweight. The problem is clear after they are installed -- the gears have a lot of slop. Turning the button (and yes, I checked them for tightness) reveals there is a gap when you reverse the machines from loosen to tighten where nothing happens. Further, that feeling of gears not quite meshing is present when moving slowly to a pitch making it easy to over correct. Recovering from any overcorrection again reveals that loose gear sensation with far too much rotation before you'll notice a pitch change.Testing with new strings yields the same result, and testing with zero initial winds from the locking point is no different. This eliminates string stretching as a reason, and once the string settles down the tune will stay where you put it, but the adjustment still has that iffy territory when engaging the tuner's gears. All in all, if these had better made gears, they would be an outstanding value; as it is, they look far better than they perform. If your application is to hang a guitar on the wall and not tune it, these will make it look good. However, if you need to stay in tune on stage, don't bother with these.

These tuning machines feel solid. Easy to install in standard 10mm holes. I twisted off the head of one of the screws while bolting the final machine head into the head stock, even though I had a pilot hole drilled. Be careful and don't torque on them. Great value for the price.

I got these to dress up a guitar I bought when Media Play went out of business. I bought the matching bridge, tailpiece, knobs and pickup rings. The tuners were kind of iffy. One of them is hard to turn and another lets the string slip right through. I have to wind my highest string the old fashioned way because it slips. They do look fantastic, however, and give a plain black guitar a really cool vibe.

Very lightweight, which is great if that matters to you.Single post firmly attached to the lock knob.Tip of post looks machined, so it will hold the string without cutting it.That is a big problem with the super cheap generic lockers.I found the gears a bit dry, so I put a drop of oil in them. Also gave them a quick buff, since I found the black a little dull for something new.Typical install. No problems there. These are a good deal as far as lockers go.I like the smooth Gotoh style, which was appropriate for the guitar I used them on.I still find the gears a little gritty feeling, but nothing terrible like you will find on the super cheap lockers.$40 shipped is about the cheapest you will find lockers worth using. These, and Tone NInja are the best value. I think the Tone Ninja are higher quality, and are just a little bit more expensive. These look super cool, so def a good choice if you like the way they look.Only complaint: Wish they were staggered.

Very nice indeed. Well made, fits the standard sizing for pegs with no issue. Holds tuning really well, much better than the original non-lockingI broke one of my originals and so looked to replace. Found these at the upper end of what I wanted to spend and hadn't had locking tuners before. They are fantastic.Would recommend for any guitar under £800 and even maybe for the higher end - though I can't afford the higher end guitars so pure speculation. I'll let you know when I'm a millionaire
