Works great. Did exactly what I needed it to do, fix my joycon drift. Very happy!

Goodness. Wish I installed these sooner. Outside of the return window. Put them in and tried the calibration and sure enough no drift at, but all 4 sticks I purchased were not centered. So I would say it is worse than a little drift. Very disappointed as the hall effect sensors are such a great idea. But ideas don't matter if the joystick doesn't center. Wish I would have just kept buying the cheaper ones.

I had no idea sticks could drift as bad as these ones do. Way worse than the old ones straight out of the box.

I have some limited edition Joycons and my animals got to them and destroyed the joysticks.Initially I got these Hall Effect stick replacements and they worked solid for about a year after the initial calibration. Left one started to drift a bit but I play handheld HEAVILY, so $20 a year is a great price to pay if you can tinker a bit and want to save your joycons!

Just bought 3 of them and now we all are drift free at home. It was relatively easy to change. Good quality too

Bought this to replace my old switch Joycons that were drifting terribly. A quick YouTube tutorial and I had then swapped out, calibrated, and back to playing Zelda: TOTK in no time! Added benefit of these not drifting either!

Installation was very low-effort. I didn't even need to look up a guide, as the layout of controller is quite nice and easy to follow if you have much experience. As soon as I popped these in and calibrated them, I was set — there's nothing else to it. My son's absolutely stoked.

I want to give this five stars but I can't since only one of the joysticks worked. The non-working jostick had a severe right-drift to it. The other joystick worked like a dream and fixed my original drift (only two days in, so far so good). The joystick's rubber isn't as sticky as the OEM joystick's, so my thumbs slips off more easily.

Overall, I really like these, but there are two things to consider:1. Using these replacement sticks,2. Installing these sticks. As far as the quality of the sticks themselves go, they use Hall Effect technology so it uses magnetic sensors to determine the movement instead of parts that are in contact with each other. Since there's no contact, there shouldn't be any sort of wearing down of any connections that ultimately lead to stick drift. After I installed these, I did notice there was a bit more tension in the movement as opposed to the OEM sticks that came in my Joy-Cons. It didn't feel bad, just different. Maybe it's because they're not used as much as the other ones, but I feel like I have a bit more control when using them. The other thing to consider is the actual installation. To do this, you'll need to be pretty comfortable taking apart electronics with small connectors inside. This version is not a kit that comes with the needed tools, so you'll also need a couple different tools:- Tri-point Y00 screwdriver or bit- Phillips #00 screwdriver or bit- Spudger- Opening picks- TweezersI would recommend looking for some the iFixit video tutorials on how to perform the swap, but bear in mind that the left and right Joy-Cons are slightly different when taking them apart. When opening the case, you need to be careful not to tear any of the ribbon cables. The battery needs to be removed, so the connector needs to be carefully removed from the socket and the battery itself has some adhesive holding it in place that you need to carefully deal with. You also need to unlock the ribbon cable connector to replace the joystick. After the replacements are finished, you'll need to calibrate the joysticks in the System Settings of the Switch.Overall, it's not bad, as long as you're comfortable taking apart things with tiny screws and pieces and putting them back together. If you're not comfortable with all that, you might be better off skipping the upgrade and recalibrating the Joy-Cons as needed.
