I wish that I had read the reviews before I purchased these. After setting up my guitar, I had to crank up my amp to hear the bass strings, but even they were much louder then the top three treble strings which were muted and put out zero volume. I suspected that there was something wrong with my pickups and even adjusted the screw heights. Finally, I put a couple of old strings back on and the guitar played just fine. Bottom line: I too have 9 sets of cheap defective strings left. Stay away from these.

A 28Dollar set That is no joke ppl I paid 25.00 for 10 sets of strings and 5 well-trained musicians could not tell I paid 2.50 for a set of strings Everyone of them was stunned. And when I told them to try it out for the feel and how easygoing the bending was they were sold, Sound is solid on every string now just to see how long a set lasts if I get 30 or 40 hours I'll be happy. But my only grip is I could not find any.08 I got .09 and I run the strings on my Acoustic Also I know you will say you can't run elicit strings on an Acoustic guitar but I do easy on the fingertips well I'm just a nobody you don't have to take my word try a couple of sets I would like to know what you thinking about there strings also.

I’ve used every brand of strings on the market and only a few from China have the finish that lasts like this and I’m including strings made here in the states. The only thing that I can say bad about them is the process of inspection when manufacturer doesn’t catch? Usually they don’t twist the first string at the ball end enough and it unravels and comes loose! You must check the raveling and tighten it up! You might put a pc of scotch tape on the wrap before the ball end. This will help protect the string from breaking or rubbing any friction at that end. Thx rock on! I had the first string break on many guitars? I put a small pc of wrap from a electrical wire and slide it on the string to the ball. It will buffer the string from any sharp points and keep you from any string breaks. Geno, played guitar for 72 years. Started when I was 8. : )

First off the strings are packed and identified well. They are shorter than normal but were ok for my Les Paul type guitar. The high E boke after tuning, during stretching the strings, a normal procedure. I opened another pack and put another one on. I then ordered a pack of ten E strings, $10 amazon. They played ok and felt good bends are a little stiff but no big deal. What I happened next blew my mind.I replaced the bridge pickup to 8.3k from 10.3k so I removed the strings put the pickup in and restrung the guitar. I tried to tune it up. On the bridge pickup, the high E and B strings were dead, very low output. I switched to the neck pickup they sounded fine. Now I'm thinking my new bridge pickup was bad in the high frequencies.Or were the strings bad? Replace the strings opening another pack and bridge pickup was ok now. This was the first time I ever had dead spots on a guitar strings. Weird as h*ll. After all this BS the strings cost me about $4 / pack. As another user said the tone is not that great, and that's what I noticed as well. The highs are shaved off a little. I Don't recommend using these strings for any level of user.

These strings were on sale as part of Amazon's July promotion, so I thought I would give them a try. I just upgraded the pickups on my guitar and replaced the old strings with a set of Pogolab 10-46. I tuned them and then tried them. The guitar sounded so bad I almost cried. The bass was ok, but the volume of the treble strings was very muted compared to the bass strings and the whole effect was dull and lifeless. Additionally, despite locking tuners, the strings would not stay in tune and were very touchy. I checked the wiring to make sure I hadn't messed up, the capacitor to make sure I hadn't damaged it and adjusted the pickup heights. I was about to try a lower value capacitor when I went back and read the Amazon reviews on these strings. On the off chance it might be the strings, I ordered a set of 10-46 Ernie Ball Slinkys. When they arrived, I replaced the 1st string and immediately noticed that the volume was much louder than either 2 or 3. I then replaced the remaining strings, tuned up and was thrilled to find the guitar sounded as I hoped it would when I replaced the pickups. Additionally. the tuning on the new strings was stable and linear. In summary, only purchase these strings if you want a dull, lifeless unbalanced sound and a guitar you hate to play. Anyone want to buy 9 sets of 10-46 Pogolab strings, I can give you a great deal.
