Do yourself a favor, spend the money on a decent reputable brand of strap locks. These fell apart during a rehearsal. The caps fell off within 5 mins of each other. It was really weird. One fell off while I was just standing between songs. The second fell off while playing the next one. They didn’t “unlock”. I had to use pliers to remove them after rehearsal, then the locking piece and the spring fell right out. Had these on my Les Paul, thank God they didn’t give out. THAT would have bern catastrophic. You get what you pay for..won’t happen to me again that’s for sure. Spend your $$ on a name brand. Or at least NOT THESE.

I have these on every guitar I have. And that is about 15. Makes it so easy to go from one guitar to another by using the same trap with a transmitter!!!

The strap buttons themselves are nice, but they will not work with existing Schaller Locking clips. The supplied clips are a little thin-walled for me to feel good about having a heavy guitar hang off of for hours on end. They're not bad, for less than $10, but they are not Schaller quality.

Great little strap locks feel very secure. Only issue was they rattle a bit when you move the strap around not a problem when they are in playing position.

The head that you pull that releases the strap lock almost immediately fell off for me lmfao. I was able to still use the lock but was frustrated that it seemed like it didn't have a solid way to connect to the pin. I now have to use pliers if I want to unlock the strap. Not that big of a deal considering I want it to be locked, but I think they could be a little better quality. For the price, it's a good deal and this might be a user error.

I debated buying these instead of the Schaller, Dunlop, Ernie Ball, and other products on the market. I have previously bought some lesser known brand, years ago, and used them on a vintage Les Paul with excellent results. I decided to buy these years later, and find these more than adequate. This is not rocket science folks. These strap locks were easy to install. Just unscrew the old ones, and keep the old screws to screw in the new ones for a perfect fit. I prefer to screw them in by hand, as power drills can be unforgiving in the wrong hands. The difference in quality doesn’t justify the brand names being twice to 3 times more expensive. I will update this review if warranted.
