3-Step Installation of Mini split ac line cover kit
- Drill the frame to the outside wall where the line set comes out from the indoor unit and connects to the outdoor unit.
- Screw the frame to the outside wall, and then use the provided zip ties to secure the line set to the frame.
- Secure the top into place, and then snap on all the other pieces simply. You can also use an elbow piece to install at an angle.

I bought this for the line set and cable for a 9000 btu mini split. The cable is 1/2” and the copper pipes are insulated 1/4” and 1/2”. They barely fit into the 3” cover set. If you are considering this product do yourself a huge favor and buy the 4” version. The quality is great and well made. I had no problems fitting every thing together .

I painted this a deep red to match the siding color of my metal pole barn. Despite the chilly conditions during painting, the paint adhered well, and it has held beautifully for a few months now, even with its southern exposure.

The screw holes were too wide for the threads to bite into, so I had to use the included drywall screws instead, and then provide my own longer drywall screws for attaching this to the exterior wall.
