I used these magnets for balancing my 8 inch dob telescope. Worked great for this purpose. I had to use a sheet magnet between these magnets and the telescope tube to keep the paint on the tube from being scratched.

These are Super Magnets, excellent for the price. I’m very impress with the size and Strength. I use them on my car cover and securing tarps
