I took out the original tuners and compared them to the Grovers and I was amazed at the near-identical appearance. The OEM tuners are obviously Grover copies. The only differences are the cast markings on the tuners while the originals had no brand.The patient; 1994 Epiphone Rock-Bass-ch (Explorer style head stock)(hockey stick)The only tools needed are a 15mm wrench and a #1 Phillips screwdriver.These are a perfect fit, no mods needed. Grover's been around over a hundred years (1922). I trust them to have good hardware. And...they have a lifetime warranty.The bass is almost 30 years old and camera shy, sorry, no pics.
