Super smooth and light years ahead of the lesser expensive styles of compact bass machine heads without costing an arm and a leg. Gotoh has been a top tier manufacturer of machine heads, bridges and the like for a while and it seriously shows. Also arrived much sooner than expected which is kudos to the small business seller on here in getting them out and on their way quickly.

These fit my Ibanez SR300E perfectly. It only took around 15 minutes to install. These are a major upgrade over the ugly stock tuners that come on the lower level SRs. Overall this is a cheap, but great upgrade, that makes the lower level SRs perform like the higher end Ibanez basses.

It is a set of four, very good quality. They fitted well on my Yamaha TRBX174. Needed to pre-drill new holes, and fill original ones with a mix of wood powder and school glue. They feel and look much better than original ones. Delivery was fast as it was promised.

These fit my 2001 Ibanez GSR200 perfectly. Installation was completed in less than ten minutes. Although it is still much too early to know, it feels like there is little play in these machines. The black headstock and these machines is a good look!

Been a musician since 1988 but have never worked on my own equipment. I got sick of dealing with cranky repairmen in music shops. So, I put these tuners on a Yamaha TRBX174 that I decided to buy to use as a "guinea pig" as I learn how to adjust and replace parts on guitars. So, I went with a lower price bass and the tuners were easy to install. I have a rubber mallet I had to hammer in the top piece enough to make connection and make sure washers are in place because these screw into the tuning peg so you need the washers (included in the kit they sell here) for assisting in turning. You'll need a wrench for sure. On the back the original tuning pegs I had, had four screws: I had to drill new holes for the new screws so I wouldn't strip the phillips style heads on the screws that came in the package. They work well, seem extremely durable and look great. I have Gotoh's on my Les Paul and a few other guitars I own. They're equal in durability to other companies (which I also have) but are at a better price. They're also great in staying in tune as long as you keep parts snug. I haven't had problems with any of these Gotoh's loosening up in the past from a lot of playing. But I hear from some folks they might, as with all tuners. Just keep everything snug. You don't want to tighten up everything too much. Thanks for the great product Gotoh! It's nice to find a good replacement for this Yamaha TRBX174 Bass I took a gamble on!

I put these on a 2004 Warwick Thumb NT. They fit perfectly. Drop right in. Took 10 min. They add a little more weight than the original tuners, but they are WAY better. They are very solid and they look classy. My Thumb stays in tune a little better now as well.My Ibanez SR1200 has the same tuners.Buy em...they are well worth the upgrade!

I bought this Tuning Machines because two reasons:1) the Gotoh GB707 are "THE" head hardware on the prestige basses of Ibanez (in my case, for my sr506bm). They are made in japan and expertly crafted. I always dreamed to have this instead of the Hipshop or other nice brand. They look AWESOME and everytime i see my bass with this Gotoh Tuners, it makes me smile. The design of this tuning machines is unique of Gotoh, so at 100 miles you can realize that.2) My original Machine Heads, the ones that came with the bass, had a couple of Little spots that gave me a headache everytime i saw them, so i really want this new Tuners. They are the best Brand of tunning machines for me, that's my opinion, i recommend to see many reviews and photos. Thanks to AmplifiedParts for bring this items on Amazon. At 2010 i tried to buy this machine heads, they were only at Japan, directly from the Gotoh's Company Seller (G-Jax) and they were very expensive, like 180 dolars.Update June 2022:I still love Gotoh for machine heads, my SR has 8 years with those tuners and they look awesome. A few days ago I bought another ones for my BTB, just see the pictures, they are so beautiful.
