If you’re on the fence, reading reviews just DO IT! I tried so many grout cleaning products and they did an “okay” job but didn’t get it as cleaned as I wanted so this was my last ditch effort and I am so impressed that I wanted to write a review! 20 minutes of my time and this is the result, just overall a cleaner, fresher non “gringy” look! I am a grout pen believer!

This is fabulous and so easy to use. I’m OK if I end up having to redo it every few months because it literally took me five minutes to do a large area. I just ordered a second pen and probably will be a third. I was worried this would be too dark and two beige, but it dried down beautifully neutral.

We were trying to figure out how to clean the grout in our bathroom, to make it look cleaner, and we discovered this product. We cleaned and then applied this grout paint and our bathroom looks fantastic!

I’m here because my landlord wasn’t receptive to the idea of having someone come in to renew the grout in the bathroom prior to me moving in. After going over what DIY options I had, I felt this was the by far the cheapest and least labor intensive method for me (Cost = $9 US / Total Labor = 2.5 hours, including prep cleaning).I read some of the other reviews and found them to be helpful when deciding upon the single pen or the double pack. For my small bathroom, one pen did it all in one generous coat. Although I did go over some spots more after the first coat to touch those up. I used almost every drop of paint in the pen at the point though.I initially had difficulty choosing a color because I felt that the beige color was just too dark based on the color of the pen cap in the product photos. However, information gathered from previous reviews showed that the actual color was far lighter than the cap color, so I went for it.You can see in the before photo that my grout was quite bad in some places. And while the condition of the grout in those places is still compromised, it looks far better than it did. And for $9, I feel like it was the best ROI, I’ve gotten all year, hahaha.In conclusion and based on what this product is intended for l, considering and its ease of use and efficacy, I got to give up 5 stars. It did exactly what it was supposed to do and the results speak for themselves. I’ll have to monitor its durability over some time and update this review as needed. But so far, I’m pleased.

This was so easy to apply. Covered the staining so well. I had tried everything to remove the stains and this product covered it in minutes. Well worth the money

These grout pens are great and work well and give good coverage .Make sure U clean Ur grout 1st to allow it to adhere....Give them a good shake, U need to press down onto the nib afew times but not too hard as u'll push the nib in, then when U see the colour on the nib then Ur good to go!! My grout looks like new again very pleased with the Results🙂It dries quickly but I let it afew hours to dry properly before I cleaned my floor .Would Def buy these again as and when I needed to buy hopefully I don't have to for a while yet!!🙂

This worked pretty well for me. It was easy to apply to grout lines and the color was appropriate for my tile. It's a sort of beige color, so if you want white this isn't it. It also won't work with narrow grout lines smaller than about a quarter inch, unless you don't mind wiping off what gets on the tiles.Actually, even with wider grout lines this paint will mark some of the tile because you can't really guide it that accurately all the time. But it's pretty easy to wipe off the unwanted paint marks since it doesn't dry for a minute or two after you apply it.I did have occasional problems with the tip of the applicator falling out of the tube since nothing really holds it down except friction. But you just pop it back in and keep going.Overall, I was pleased with it. It has a few drawbacks but nothing that keeps you from getting your work done.

After about a decade my tile floor grout was stained, dirty and discolored. This pen was easy to use and made the tile look clean and bright. I’m hoping it lasts for awhile but for the cost if I need to do it again after 6 months or so it’s still worth it.

I am so happy with the results. The pen is super easy to use and lasts quite well. I wasn’t expecting to see such great results! 10/10 would buy again and recommend to others! The pictures speak for themselves.

Update-I steam mopped my floors and there was no sign of the grout paint coming off. Everything still looks good and I even noticed one of my kids had gotten blue toothpaste on the floor which would’ve stained the old unsealed grout, but it wiped right off! I’m not a fan of my bathroom tile or the lighter color grout (it never stays clean with kids and pets) and can’t wait to replace it, but until then I wanted it to look better. Our grout wasn’t sealed by prior owners, so it’s crumbling and discolored in many areas. Don’t expect this pen to make grout look new, but it definitely provides an improvement. I wasn’t super careful when filling the lines, but I was able to go behind with a paper towel and wipe where I got excess on tiles without removing the entire line with no problem. I allowed it to dry for an hour or so and we had company over that night with no odor or issues smearing with people walking on the floor. My only complaint is that the flow was sometimes inconsistent and I had to prep it again on a piece of cardboard a few times during the process. It’s yet to be determined whether this will hold up long term as I haven’t steam mopped my floors yet, but for the price it greatly enhanced the aesthetic so I think it’s a great value.

The first pen I purchased was the wrong color so, I purchased 2 more pens. The color was good. The pen was easy to use and it colored the old grout very well however, they both took a lot of effort to get the paint to the tip and both ran out of paint very quickly. I ordered 3 more pens. The 3rd pen I used had the same problem. The paint wouldn't come out at first and when it did it ran out quickly. I opened yet another pen and when I pushed down the tip to get the paint out, it gushed just a bit. This pen glided over the grout with ease and it covered my remaining grout with ease. It appears that 3 out of the 5 (correct color) pens I purchased were old and were quite dry. I should have only needed 2 or 3 pens to cover my area instead of the 4 I used. I could have re-grouted for less but, I was looking for an easier way to accomplish the same thing. If you have good working pens, I highly recommend using this method to change the color of your grout if you have a small area. I gave it a 3 star rating only because some of the pens were dry. I am very disappointed about that but, I don't know how you avoid it. Hope this helps.
