What a great product. I'm not completely sure if the outlet in my room is properly grounded. I feel much better about grounding when using this rod. They provide a generous amount of wire and It's simple to set up.

My wife has had good results with her RA pain using a grounding sheet. The bedroom we stay in at her parents’ house does not have any grounded outlets so we’re using this to ground a sheet.I was able to run it out a window and still properly close the screen and window. Testing the sheet with a multimeter showed a proper ground and I also confirmed it by jumping the ground prong on an outlet tester while partially plugged in to an outlet (it went from showing an open ground to a properly grounded outlet).I may pick up another one of these to use for travel purposes with a grounding mat as a suspect my parents house may also lack properly grounded outlets.

This long 40 ft ground wire works perfectly. I was able to connect to a ground blanket that I need longer wire. I fished it out through a window; not the easiest task. Some grounding sheets work through an outlet, but I like grounding directly. Plus it is portable, in case you want to use your grounding sheets in other areas and don't have access to an outlet.

So, with these types of items there is no way to do an effectiveness review, grounding is just one of those things that you have to understand how it works, as there is no way to measure right out. As for the quality of the item, it's made with top quality and durable materials. It was easy to connect to my mat, tested with my grounding pen and the grounding stake definitely works.

Long cord, long 'stake' for good ground contact - everything I need for actual grounding without using an electric outlet. Just feels right, somehow!
