I have seen similar solar taps used on the internet. This product works great for my setup. I was afraid that the smaller cable wouldn't have a good connection. No issues

As a seasoned electrician I can say these taps worked perfectly. I wouldn't expect everyone would know how to properly use these. Shipping was reasonable. I'd buy them again.
