About this item

  • KEEPS MICROFIBER CLOTHS SOFT AND ABSORBENT: Breaks down and removes polish, wax, and sealant residue from car wash towels and foam pads, restoring softness, absorbency, and performance
  • REVIVE FOAM PADS FOR BETTER RESULTS: Our car polishing pad cleaner penetrates deep into foam cells to remove stubborn polish granules, wax, and dirt buildup
  • EASY TO USE MICROFIBER TOWEL CLEANER : Add 2-4 ounces when you launder your microfiber towels and cloths (wash separately from other fabrics)
  • ALSO WORKS GREAT FOR CAR DETAILING PADS: Spray this foam buffing pad cleaner directly on foam pads, let it soak in, then rinse with warm water to break up embedded polish, wax, and sealant residue
  • WASHING MACHINE SAFE: Formulated for convenience; Pour when you launder your car wash towels or soak pads to keep car detailing gear fresh and ready

Keep your towels and pads in top shape with our Microfiber and Foam Pad Cleaner. Over time, microfiber towels trap wax, polish, dirt, and residue that reduce their softness and absorbency. This powerful Griots microfiber cleaner breaks down stubborn buildup, so your towels stay soft, effective, and ready for your next detail. Developed and manufactured in the USA to rigorous standards, we create, bottle, and distribute all our liquid car cleaning products in our own U.S. Manufacturing and Distribution Center. Just add 2–4 ounces to your washing machine (be sure to wash separately from other fabrics). It works deep into the fibers to release contaminants, leaving your towels fresh and residue-free. Use this Griots microfiber and foam pad cleaner to clean your foam pads. Spray it on, let it soak, and rinse thoroughly to remove polish, wax, and sealant buildup. It allows for better product performance and longer pad life.

I’ve been ordering car care products from Amazon for probably 15 years without ever experiencing the dreaded “wet box” where all of the contents had leaked during shipping.Well, I guess my luck finally ran out with this order. The box was severely crushed upon arrival and liquid was still leaking from it.I just happened to be at my mailbox when the US Postal Service delivery person arrived with my wet and crushed box still leaking its contents all over everything in sight. Upon handing the box to me, she started to complain how my package had gotten all of her other packages wet. And insinuated that I was somehow responsible for the damage to her other deliveries! (I think she stepped on it)Why does the Federal Government insist on hiring inept, incompetent, and unqualified people? And then never fires them regardless how badly they screw up.As I live in a rural area, tens of miles from the post office, she obviously mishandled the package as it was still in the process of spewing liquid.Sorry for my rant lol.Needless to say, Amazon replaced my order without any charge to me. Thanks Amazon! Now the review.I’ve tried several other brands to clean my microfiber cloths and foam correcting/polishing pads with mixed results. Some brands were OK and others just not worth the time it takes to place the order. This stuff just plain works. It completely removes any trace of wax, polish, or compound within a few minutes of soaking and gentle agitating. I’m a fan for life.

I detail a few cars in my neighborhood and honestly thought a dedicated pad cleaner was overrated as I used dawn dish soap and got decent results. I ran into a issue with Griots Garage all in one ceramic polish/wax not coming out of the pad at all as it is super hydrophobic... I decided to try griots garage pad cleaners and that was able to fix my issue in one application. I went back through my old pads and cleaned them with this product and saw a noticeable increase in pad's cleanliness. I will be using this going forward. Use in a well ventilated area as this product made me cough when used with a sprayer.

Product works well to help condition microfiber towels when used in conjunction with your favorite "free and clear" laundry detergent. Will likely buy again when I use this bottle up.

In my experience, this is so far the most superior microfiber and pad detergent providing great results. Don’t forget it doesn’t replace regular detergent, you use this along with the regular one.

Works as good as it should! When I clean my car I typically have a towel for drying and the same towel for wiping down the wheels and whatever clean part of that towel remains I wipe all the door jams and underneath the door(the bottom edge of the door usually leaves black streaks on my towel, even when I wash my car weekly)I then use another towel to go over the windows with invisible glass. So these towels along with my microfiber sponges(i typically spray the the sponge down with my pressure washer to remove most dirt) all get thrown into the same wash. I fill the soap dispenser in the washer with mostly this cleaner, then add a little of laundry detergent. Wash on hot, load size is just a guess but I try to make sure the water level is higher than the towels so that the towels can get thrown around and not just be stuck to each other.I have yet to stain a towel doing this. Before I used griot's cleaner I did notice my old microfiber towels were very dried up compared to my newer ones. My old one's also had some stains that wouldn't come out, so those were trashed. But ever since I bought new towels and used griot's cleaner every time I've never had an issue with them coming clean. And make sure you dry on low heat, you don't want the towels to be dry and hot when you take them out, just make sure they're barely warm, but dry otherwise you're damaging the fibers.

This is an average microfiber cleaning liquid. After using it couple of times i don't see any difference between my liquid laundry detergent or this one. I have to wash it 2-3 times in order to remove the dirt while the regular laundry detergent removes dirt better from a single wash (although i'm not sure if it damages the towel, as many people say). I was unable to get off the dirt stain on the towel even after washing it multiple times (and it didn't have that much dirt to be stained). On the foam pads, it was able to break down the upper crust formed by the wax but it does not completely get rid of the wax that has gone inside the foam pad.

Refreshed some chitty rags i had, that were thoroughly saturated in silicones and dressings beyond regular washing. They are like new and grippier/softer than ever. can polish glass to a crystal finish with no cleaner after washing microfibers in this stuff. Goes quickly as you are to use 3-4 oz per load, buy the gallon and buy another one to back it up, goes faster than youd think washing 1 load a week. I detail my car once a week with detail touch ups, I use about 48 rags to do this. I do one load a week along with my wash mitts and drying towels. stuff goes faster than Id like.
