This great gadget is sturdy and easy to use to clean the grimiest surfaces on the grill. The bristles maintain a stiffness while cleaning and the functionality helps to get the job done.

Not only does it work well for tough to clean grills, it also is well designed. If you are like me and keep your cleaner in your grill and sometimes forget to take the brush out before heating it up, no need to buy a new grill. The plastic handle will quickly burn down into an easily cleanable powdered that can be brushed off with a wet rag.

This I had bought for my grandson for the barbecue and so far he loves it it does what it's supposed to do as far as cleaning the grill and he likes the fact that it can be broke down instead of leaving it out

Works great, but I’m afraid of bristles coming loose. That’s why I did four star.

This brush has a side with regular bristles, and a side with cable spiral like Kona. It includes a similar uggestion to use the spiral side wet.I have two ceramic grills. The large has a heavy cast iron grate and the small has a thin wire grate. The wire brush side of this device works as well as (or even better) than expected on both grate types. 1-2 strokes over each spot on the hot wire grate, or 2-4 strokes on the hot cast iron grate and all the crud drops into the fire. As the brush is small it works surprisingly better than brushes with a large square head but probably won't last as long. The spiral side is disappointing. A small number of strokes, even when wet, gets few of the clingons to drop from the bottom/lower part of the grate into the fire. A large number of strokes doesn't do much better. It works better on the wire grate than the cast iron grate. It still needs to be finished with a wire brush or a crumpled ball of foil in tongs. The bowl of water gets disgusting and becomes another dish that has to be cleaned. One of the key points of using a charcoal or propane grill is that the mess burns up in the fire instead of making nasty dishes that need to be washed.Thankfully this brush has both sides, and tells me I need to stock up on real brushes (which GrillArt still offers) before they get banned.Pros:- wire side works great- has both wire and spiral side.- The entire work head is metal so its not harmed by super hot grills (unfortunately many are now plastic).Cons:- spiral side very disappointing especially on heavy cast iron grate. If you aren't sure you'll like the spiral brush this is great eval product. If you like it you won't use the bristle side and therefore won't worry about getting bristles in food. If you hate it, you still have a bristle brush that should last a few seasons.

After 3 uses there are frayed coils. It feels dangerous to continue using a brush that wears out so quickly.

I did not read the description closely and was disappointed that the brush has wire bristles.
