Step 1: Pre-Heat grill for 15 minutes just to soften or melt debris.

Step 2: Use the grill scraper to gently scrape off the dirt or grease on the grill

Step 3: Fill water with a small container to frequently soak the stainless steel grill brush while brushing.

Step 4: Scrub in the direction of the grille. Do not glide over the horizontal grille as you would with a wire brush.

Step 5: Tilting the grill cleaning brush back slightly for a deeper clean. Wipe the surfaces with a wet rag to eliminates any left-over wire on the grill

NOTE:

Brown markings on the scraper were welding marks not rustiness. It was caused by the process when welding grill brushes and grill scraper together at high temperature (2726 ℉). Therefore, It's normal for brown welding mark on the top of scraper. You may rest assured that it's not quality problem.

This brush comes in 2 pieces. You have to screw the plastic handle to the brush. I guess it's to reduce the shipping box size. It looks well made and than other bbq brushes. It brushed off alot of the crude on my grill. Key is to use hot water after heating the grill. No chemicals or solvents, just hot water and this brush and it cleans the grill like new. Clean up is same, run it in soapy water and shake. My only gripe of this is the screw handle. When you use it hard to scrub you make inadvertently loosen the handle but you will feel it. Otherwise, I think this will last for a few seasons.

I had a similar design without a scraper for about 6 years and didn't realize I had worn it out so much. I was concerned about the screw on handle but not anymore; well made. Wire density is good and it cleaned off lots of old residue the 1st use. Really like the scrapper which my former one did not have. Would buy again.
