I've tried so many types in the past but this one is my all time favorite. I recently purchased a new grill and went with the manufacturers recommendation, which was a brass bristled brush. Pro tip, remove cooked on food in a jiffy by having a large bowl of water next to the grill. Dip the brush in the water and scrub away - the steam releases any food and grease instantly.

A must if you want to avoid scratching your enamled grills. Nicely made but a tad over priced hence the 4. Check Screwfix for brass wire brushes.

I have a Weber grille with porcelain coated grates. I wanted a brush that was strong enough to thoroughly clean the grille while it was still hot (without dipping the brush in water) but not too rough to scratch the porcelain coating. After reading many reviews, I decided on this brush and am very happy I did since it meets all my criteria. It is also very well made and, so far, hasn't shed any filaments like other brushes I've had.

We were looking for something to keep the pizza stone cleaned off. This works great. We have the 12" oven and had to "squish" it down slightly due to the opening size. The brass brushes do not harm the stone and it was like "nearly new" when I used it the first time.The extra long handle also keeps your hand away from the 900 degree bricks if you need to do a cleanup when it is hot.Also, if you are using it for the pizza stone - don't share with your grill or that oil will be in the stone and that is not the brush's fault.
