I was looking for a notebook that is the same size as my cash book. I love the quad ruled paper to do my calculations, somewhat old school habit. This is perfect size pad, with nice good quality pages. I wish it would have thick book like top…but this is okay too. Work for what I need.

As a plumber who takes notes and makes lists, it works great as an everyday pad. Both sides of the page has graph lines.

I love having graff paper to write and sketch on. This paper fits my needs because I have the small 5" X 8" size in the graff paper I Luke to use without having to carry two tablets. It is clearly marked in blue lines. It is a little tough to tear out a clean sheet, but I have not lost a sheet to a really bad tear. The perforation seems to be right up at the top creating a alightly ragged edge. That is my only complaint.

The paper is sturdy, the binding is sturdy, and the tablet is the advertised size. Despite these things, the binding covers over the micro-perforations, rendering them useless. In order to tear pages off, the paper must be folded over and creased several times. Even with that effort, pages do not tear off neatly.This is a quality control issue that, if addressed, would make this a fine product.

I really like these graph ruled Jr. Legal Pads by Ampad - great size for note-taking and carrying around, and very good quality, both the paper and the lines. Unfortunately, they have become very expensive and are hard to find (being phased out or already discontinued?) so I will not be purchasing any more of these unless the price is reduced by at least 50% (these were 9.99 each, but I wanted a couple more before they disappear altogether).
