I use these on my sneakers. Normally, the sneaker shoe laces often get undone (I don't do double knots).With these you get two benefits:1) You don't have to tie/untie your shoe laces2) because the shoe lace is elastic, it seems to never get undoneIt's one less thing I have to worry about.

Comparison to most shoelaces, these laces are extremely narrow. Almost half the width of a regular shoelace. The change from normal size laces to skinny laces makes the shoes look odd and awkward. You can tell they are not designed for those shoes. Tried in two different types of shoes. The laces are just too skinny. Unfortunately I cannot recommend these unless you're putting them on a child issue or perhaps a female shoe but smaller feet. For someone with a large foot male size 12ish it does not work.
