Greenlee round standard metal punch units are complete units consisting of punch, die and draw stud. They can punch quick clean holes through metal up to 10 gauge (check specs for specific punches). They can be used with battery-powered, hydraulic, ratchet or manual drivers. Properly assembled through pilot holes, they will make clean, fast and accurate holes. After cutting the slug falls free in the die, and a quick tip drops it out.

I have used this brand of knockouts for many years and they have never let me down. This particular item is the non-slugbuster type but the slug is easy to remove.

Greenlee punches have always been the standard. I build race cars and parts and have quite a few other Greenlee punches in various sizes. I needed one which was specifically 1 1/2 inch so ordered this one. Works perfectly. Arrived fast and well packed. 5 stars.

The product package box was labeled 1-1/2" Greenlee punch but the punch in the box was a 2-1/2", so back it went, I could not use it. Customer service was nice but could not send me the correct punch at the original price I paid ($68+ w/free shipping) from a third party vender through Amazon and wanted me to place another order at a higher price ($86+) from Amazon. I went to another site and ordered the punch and including shipping, was only about $5 more than what I originally paid. My experience with other Greenlee punches would lead me to believe the new punch will work just as well as they have. It would have been nice if Amazon could of exchanged the wrong item at the original price instead of just refunding my money and having to re-order.
