I got this for my pink-loving 5-year-old, and she hasn't stopped driving it around the house and the backyard for a week!I'm marking this truck 4 stars though, rather than 5, because it has one big flaw, and I can't believe they haven't changed the design by now. There is no room in the cab for little people/animals/characters! and if one manages to get squeezed in, there's no way you'd get it out again.Any child playing with this truck would want to have a driver for the truck! Why not make the cab a little bit larger, and spare us the headaches and tears that will inevitably come?For this reason, the Battat/B Toys dump truck is superior, and similar in size--but it isn't pink.I'm a fan of Green Toys. I love how old-fashioned, non-electronic and durable their toys are, and I really love that they do not send unnecessary and difficult packaging. I wish they'd give a little more thought to how children like to play. Most of the toys are excellent, but a few could be improved upon.

I brought this for my daughters first birthday. I love the fact it’s made out of 💯 recycled plastic what a wonderful concept . It’s high quality & very sturdy. Our daughter enjoys playing with this very much!

My son's favorite color is pink, but he's very "typical boy" in his toy preferences, so I was very thankful to find a toy I knew he would enjoy in his favorite color! I also was impressed to see that he didn't break it with his rough play when I saw him break another toy dump truck just the day before he got this one by swinging it around too vigorously. Good quality toy!=== 6 year update ===I bought a second pink truck a year after the first truck purchase so that my younger son could have one too. Neither of my kids consider pink their favorite color now, but that's not reduced their love for these trucks. Those two boys have played with those two pink trucks many, many times over the years, and at 10yo and 7yo, they'll still pull them out on occasion.The trucks remain fully functional and playable after 5-6 years of rough play, even though the kids will lean their 50-65lb bodies on them when rolling them around the house and slamming them into each other like bumper cars. They're been covered in markers, crayons, and horrors unknown, so they're not pretty to look at, but I don't think the plastic has so much as chipped, and the "dump" mechanism and wheels still work as well as they did the first day.

I bought this for my two year old daughter. I thought she might like to have a truck because she points out real trucks quite a bit.Great qualities about this truck:1. I like that this one is pink and lavender, which is perfect for a girl.2. It's great for children to drive with stuffed animals in the back (at least that's what my daughter does).3. It can also be used as a sandbox toy.4. It makes a great toy for both indoor and outdoor use.5. It is made of plastic, but it is very sturdy and of good quality.6. It is not too bulky and not too small (the perfect size).7. It's easy for little hands to handle.8. The wheels work just fine. They roll like they're supposed to do.9. It looks just like in the photo.I recommend this truck for any girl who likes vehicles or dumping sand.

I bought this for my daughter for her second birthday. Her twin brother, who already had a dump truck, got the . I have been in love with these toys since we were given about a year ago. They are a huge hit at our house with my babies, as well as any little friends who visit.I like the fact that these toys are made from recycled materials, but what we love most is the durability. We have had the dump truck and recycling truck for six months, and the plane for about a year, and they all look like new, even with daily play from two rambunctious toddlers. The colors are bright, and because the toys are made from colored plastic, there is no paint to rub off. The size of the cars/trucks/planes are perfect for toddlers. I also love the simplicity of these toys. I want my kids to have toys they can play with and use their imaginations with. I feel like kids have enough stimulation in their worlds as it is, without adding to it with battery operated, flashing, noisy toys.We are continuing to add to our Green Toys collection, and I have no doubt that the Green Toys we own will make it through our twins, as well as our younger baby. I applaud this company for making durable, quality toys and I for one, will continue to support this company.
