Typical baby crinkle paper. Colors (and both choices - a bold black and white for younger babies and bright colors for older babies) are great as a set. Very popular with multiple babies I’ve given these to (ages 4 months through 11 months).

My baby looooooves these. We bring them with us everywhere so she has something easy to look at and play with. My husband thought I was crazy when I showed them to him, but now they're one of the go-to toys. Fantastic for car rides, too, to entertain the baby.

My 4 month old loves these! They crinkle well, the patterns are interesting to him, and I love that they are machine washable. I keep one in the diaper bag for on the go and one at home for play time.

These crinkle squares are so much fun for our little one. He gets to make noise and follow it but not so loud that it is annoying. The color contrast is great for developing vision. An inexpensive toy that is so functional and so fun!

My daughter is 7 months old and loves these! This comes in a two pack and are small squares. The squares are double sided, one with a minky texture fabric and the other a cotton patterned fabric. These have gone through multiple machine wash cycles (air dry) without any concerns. My only disappointment is that these are made cheap. I would recommend to sew around the squares (if you are crafty and have a sewing machine) to make these toys survive longer! Overall, my daughter loves them!
