If you need a quick fix because you're having a get together in the backyard and your lawns look like typical California summer crispiness, this will work fine. Or if you need to take photos to sell your house maybe. It's certainly not a permanent fix, and will fade pretty swiftly with continued watering, so it's not very water resistant or durable in my opinion. The pro points are, it's easy to clean off with a hose if you get it on the stone or cement. (I addressed any spills immediately , so I can't speak to what happens if you leave it on there for a while) It covered a much bigger area than I thought.Clever trick: easy to use it with one of those empty plant food feeder things that you can attach to your hose. Depending on which angle you hold it at, it'll provide more or less coverage, so you can adjust to your liking.

This is a great product gets the job done and looks great. I used it because I had spots of dead grass that I needed to fertilize I used this stuff beforehand to get the grass green until I got it naturally green it lasted a long time and it rained the day I applied it and it still stayed. I applied it then 2 hours later had a severe storm and it didn't bleed or wash away. Great product, great price, easy to use, best stuff for you money I promise you won't disappointed if you apply it correctly and follow the directions on the bottle.

HOA has been on a rampage this summer, and my water bill is suffering competing with this Texas heat. My grass is trying hard, but struggling. I have been watering twice a day, but still can’t seem to green up this one corner. I bought this paint as a last ditch effort, and I’m thrilled with the results!!I had read other reviews about the nozzle clogging with the thick paint, but I shook the bottle and mixed with really hot water and it seemed to thin it out just fine. The color was great with only one pass. I got a little on some landscaping stones and used Dawn and a metal sponge to easily scrub it away.I might just quit watering and paint my entire lawn from here on out. So easy, so pretty, and now the HOA has nothing to complain about!

IMPORTANT: This will partially clog up after a while in one of those Home Depot wand sprayers. So after every 1 gallon refill, unscrew the spray tip and spray it hard with warm water in the kitchen sink to unclog it. It will still spray when clogged but just will take a lot longer!I have a small lawn, maybe 450 sq ft in back and 250 sq ft in front so about 700 sq ft. Used a Home Depot 1 gallon sprayer. Mixed at 8 ounces per gallon based on recommendations in a couple other reviews. Used cardboard and painter's tarp to protect patio/driveway/sidewalk. I'd say a bottle can cover no more than about 1000 sq ft as I had about 1/4 of the bottle still left. If your entire lawn is dead brown this probably will require heavier application and so a bottle will handle about 800 sq ft.My advise: Do not mix in the house. I did the initial mix in the kitchen and then refilled outside. The paint will stain. It looks like it will come out of clothes (at least synthetic fabric not sure about cotton) but to get it off pavement/pavers/concrete you need solvent and a brush.I had fertilized my grass recently so it was a medium dark not light green. This stuff seemed to match surprisingly well although I sprayed more in the dead areas I sprayed the entire area to blend. I was astonished with the results but this is the initial results so it's at its best. After a couple months of weathering (I live in high desert so little rain) who knows what it will look like. I definitely think it works best on a beauty lawn (one you don't have kids and dogs running around on) as the activity will reveal deeper down dead spots where you disturb the lawn. I had raked thatch out earlier in the year but it may be wise to dethatch before applying. It had a bit of an oily smell but it dried quickly. Would not rub off on my hands and had no smell. Supposedly its non-toxic. Label says "all natural pigments and binders." The dead areas look/feel like a fake Christmas tree. LOL.I am mid 50's and in-shape and BOY did this give me a workout (it was 85 out in the hot sun). Bending over to spray killed my back! Your tank will be stained but I'd still rinse it out and spray clean water through it as it has some sort of particles in it that will probably dry up to some sort of solid residue and get everything clocked up.5-stars with one star off because it's not a breeze to work with considering the eventual partial clogging and easy overspray that stains if you're not careful to cover everything. Will update on longevity at the end of Summer. (First photo is after I had already done 1/4th of the backyard)

I had a shrub in a row of shrubs that didn't recover after a freeze in Texas. I knew the HOA was cracking down on replacing dead foliage so I bought this and some leafy garlands. It's a tad more green than the shrubs around it but unless you are really looking, you can't tell that it's not alive. Hoping to fool the HOA for another year since replacing the very large shrub will be a few hundred dollars and I'm lazy lol. I am hoping that it will fade in the Texas sun so when winter comes around it's not the only green thing in the bunch.
