Just what I needed to remove my PS hose on my 2006 Grand Prix and this wrench was much cheaper than having to buy a set at Harbor Freight.

I am happy I could find this on Amazon. I couldn’t find it in a local store.

Sometimes you need a 16 or an 18. Not often, but sometimes, especially for power steering fittings! This is perfect, as it fills the bill in one tool. Because of the slot, it's not as strong as a conventional wrench, but overall, I am really happy with it.

These wrenches seem decent the only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because I haven't used them yet

The quality is not the best one, but good enough for moderate duty. Corresponds to the price it's totally fine and fully meets my expectations. If you need a tougher tool, obviously you will have to pay more than this price.

So many metric sets have 15mm and 17mm sizes, but no 16mm or 18mm, which is what you need for changing P/S hoses on many vehicles (mine is a GMC HD pickup with a Hydroboost module (you'll find these on gas 6.0L trucks, as well as Duramax diesels). For these, you need a 16mm at the Hydroboost end, and an 18mm at the P/S pump end. This wrench fit the fasteners well, and didn't strip off the ends / corners (they're not especially soft). For the price, a great value; would buy again.

Perfect for power assist systems. I have crow foot sets and honestly this is best for a tight spot. Make absolute sure the fitting is threaded evenly before applying torque to prevent cross threading. Permatex anti seize in light film is a good choice for future removal. Never use Teflon on auto fittings. Good luck with the repairs 😊

Ok... Maybe it's not a $30 Snap On but for the price of a burger and soda, it's awesome.16 X 18 are the metric sizes most sets DON'T come with so it's a cheap fill in.Others complain about no relief notches in the corners but it still worked fine without hurting my nuts, (and that's the whole idea isn't it)?I have included a photo of my unhurt nuts to show it actually works just fine.If you are concerned you may be dealing with soft nuts, buy the best. For everyone else, this flare nut wrench will do fine.
