This mill works well. My only complaint is that you cannot detach the top to access your milled product. This means that you cannot use your product once it is milled unless you dump it into an extra bowl and doing so is cumbersome and heavy. Also hard to carry it to a sink and try to rinse it out for cleaning. As one other reviewer mentioned, the top circumference of the grinder when open is very sharp, be careful. It is loud but I expected that. All things considered, it is good for the price.

I used my new flour mill for the first time yesterday. In only 3 minutes I had a nice fine flour. I made two small loaves of sourdough bread with tasted fantastic. If you are like me and only make small batches at a time I would highly recommended this machine!

So this is my first grain mill type grinder so not alot to compare to. What I can say is so far it has done a good job with my needs. I've done wheat berries and it made flour quickly. Next I tried a little barley and again it performed well. Coffee is a whiz if I do a whole bag - it's really not work getting dirty for just a little bit. The only thing it seems to fight a little with was corn - which makes sense how hard corn is. It took a little work, but it ground it up as well. Mostly it clean easily and fast. Overall the construction seems good material and very sturdy. The motor sounds good and strong. For my first electric grinder I"m very happy.

I'd seen the NutriMill and other expensive grain mills when I'd first started looking into milling my own flour, and I'd just assumed that it would be prohibitively expensive. I am so happy I stumbled across this flour mill and at such an affordable price. The parts and replacement parts and the machine itself is very high quality. The instructions are helpful. And the mill itself does a great job with rice and wheat (all I've tried so far)!If you want to mill your own flour, but don't want it to cost an arm and a leg, this really does a great job. It mills max just shy of 200g. So I need to run it a couple times to get all the flour ready for a loaf, but it's quick and easy and well worth the price.

I recently invested in this grinder, and I am more than happy with its performance. It's a fantastic addition to my kitchen, and it's genuinely enhanced my cooking experience. The grinder is incredibly efficient. It grinds dry ingredients in less than a minute, producing a very fine powder. I've used it to grind various spices, and the texture is always impressively smooth. One of the things I appreciate about this grinder is its capacity. It can comfortably handle a large volume of ingredients, which is particularly beneficial when preparing meals for my family or entertaining guests. It saves me time and effort, making my cooking process more streamlined and enjoyable. The product is straightforward to use, even for a novice like me. However, I did notice that it can get quite hot if run for more than a minute, so I would recommend giving it short breaks to cool down.Despite this minor issue, the grinder is durable and appears to be built to last. It's also relatively easy to clean, which is a big plus for me.In terms of noise, the grinder can be a bit loud, but it's a small inconvenience considering its efficiency and effectiveness.Overall, I am extremely pleased with this grinder. It's a high-quality product that offers excellent value for money. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a home cook like me, this grinder is a must-have in your kitchen. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient grinder.

While as noisy as an older Vacuum Cleaner, it does a nice job of grinding up Dehydrated Zuccini slices to the size of a coarse flour. It will grind dried spices quickly, and in the above last 3 images, it turned one pound of Spelt berries to 1 pound of Spelt flour quickly and easily.Unit has the rotary switch/timer but would have been better to have had a momentary push button instead as it works fast and works best by pulsing the motor for 1 or 2 seconds for several times. There is also NO interlock for the cover so it could be turned on without the cover (Do not do this.). The cover should be easy to turn with only slight resistance once the levers are released on the cover. If there are any leaks, you will get a very fine dust coming out(which can resemble smoke when you remove the cover from something that has just been ground.), and those leaks can be addressed by releasing the lever on the affected side (if there is no obstruction under the gasket seal.), and the nut which engages under the ear of the hopper can be rotated Counter Clockwise slightly as you look down at the nut from the Lever end of the lever lock (In use, thiese nuts can turn some as you twist the cover loose, so periodic checking when in use is a good idea.). While you can take a look inside the hopper to check progress without unplugging the unit; as long as the motor has stopped; you can usually tell just by the sounds the unit is making when running, and often feel as well if you happen to hold by the motor frame/body. The Zuccini was probably one of the more difficult food stuffs to grind, but by gently rocking the machine while it is running for a short continuous time after about a half dozen pulses, it usually ground up the light pieces that otherwise get blown to the hopper wall and do not get drawn into the cutting blades/hammers. Stems from dried herbs would do this as well. The Spelt flour began as spelt berries as you can see with the finished flour product. The volume of the flour is about 1 and 1/2 times higher than the unground berries. One pound of any grain is about the most you would want to do; and does not take much time to get to this coarser flour (Perfect for Artisan Breads and Skones.); which again, was achieved quickly by pulsing the grinder with the pulses just long enough to let the motor reach top speed. And again, the sounds changes when the grain has reached the Flour stage. The sifter IS included, but remove it from the hopper BEFORE you apply power the first time. You will also want to give it a quick cleanup to remove any residue from the factory or from shipping before grinding anything. While it takes a bit of care for cleaning as the main hopper is NOT removable for cleaning, it can be cleaned up with a sink sprayer (Unit cannot be immersed.), a sponge, and the included cleaning brush. Best to wrap a paper towel around the body while cleaning it up to keep water from splashing into the unit's motor.
