I bought this EZ Grader as a gift for my student teacher at the end of his semester with me. I have one that I have used for many years.The cardboard is sturdy and the numbers are easy to read. It’s a great size to carry around when I take papers home to grade.

I retired a couple years ago after 35 years of teaching and during those years I religiously used an E-Z Grader identical to this. They are the fastest, easiest way to calculate number percentage grades. I was called to return to the classroom in an emergency situation (the teacher quit two days before school started!) and I knew I needed an E-Z Grader to fullfill my duties. I ordmered this little friend here on Amazon and it arrived just in time for school to start. This is a HIGHLY recomended tool for any teacher!!

Early in my teaching career, my mom (who is now a retired elementary school teacher) bought an E-Z Grader for me. After loosing that one during a move from one district to another, I quickly bought a new one. The idea is incredibly simple. You slide the internal card back and forth to align the number of questions on an assignment, and then you can quickly glance down the E-Z Grader to the number of questions the student missed. The percentage score will then be visible through a narrow window in the card. Of course, you can always use a calculator or cell-phone to figure the scores; but the E-Z Grader is faster, and there is no worry about missing a keystroke. This is a good tool for new and more experienced k-12 teachers and post-secondary instructors. There are a couple of options on the E-Z Grader; they make a pink one for Breast Cancer Awareness, and a yellow one that is larger and has bigger print. After using one for years, I recommend it!
