This is a necessity when grading papers!!! Yes, there’s an app on your phone that you could use, but I prefer to have a tangible thing while grading. I use a picture frame holder to hold this up at a better angle so I can see it more easily when I am grading. I also put a sticky note with the grading scale for easy access. This is incredibly easy to use. It will last for a very long time. I replaced mine after about 3 1/2 years. The only reason I needed to replace it was the glue holding the pieces together started to come apart.

If you are a teacher, this is a MUST HAVE!!! This makes grading so much quicker and easier! If I could suggest to a new teacher one thing to purchase, this would be it!
