It is light weight ,easy to use . The seat is a stable enough it does what it should do. Find it good for use as a travel seat . No complaints about it being uncomfortable .

Bottom line up front -*This base unit fits with the high back unit on similar models - Kudos to Graco for making interchangeable parts**It's a great, long lasting, easy to clean, inexpensive to replace, booster seat that can be installed and removed with very little effort*This is our second pair of these boosters for our kids, ages 5 and 7, and I bought them to replace the booster seat bases for our previous Graco pair of booster seats with backs. The first pair we purchased was the full car seat and included the 'high back' seat backs (that version costs about $30 more for each). While we were travelling this summer the airline lost the seat portion on both leaving us with only the high back part of the booster, but no seats! I bought these hoping that this base would be a fit for the backs that we already owned, and they are a perfect, identical fit. For the price, and because the kids will use these seats for much longer than they did with their infant carseats, it may even be worth it to have an extra around so that you can let your child ride safely with friends or family without having to remove the existing seat from your car.

We ordered 2 of these- the solid black and the purple with hearts (both backless) to replace our old heavy old all in one car seats.-This seemed like the most cost effective booster with a latch system. That was important to me so that the booster doesn't slide all over the place.-The seat was easy to assemble out of the box and my child thinks that it is comfortable.-You must be able to attach a back (sold separately) because it does have shaped plastic near the back of the seat to allow for this. My child says that it doesn't impact comfort but it looks like it could (FYI). Since it is close to the seat, it does not appear to impact comfort.-I would give the cushioning a 2.5-3.0 Stars- it's not thick but I also think that the thinner padding is pretty typical (maybe even a safety thing).-The cup holder is nice/fine. Nothing fancy but a nice feature.-The snack tray sticks a little and it will likely just collect car dust and dirt so I tucked that in. But it's a nice feature to have it we are on a longer trip and want it.**Our needs are pretty simple- but this meets ours!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We bought this booster (and another with a different fabric style) as a way for the kids to have car seats while we traveled without having to pay the expensive rental fees from our rental car agency. (Protip: buying a booster seat like this is often the same cost as or cheaper than renting one when you rent a car, but this one is YOURS to use for as long as you want...so it's often a better way to go than renting the seat!)The seat requires no "installation", as it were, since a seat of this type doesn't require LATCH; that said, it does have the ability for you to adjust the armrests to the height of your child. The cupholders are large enough to accommodate cups of various size, and having two of them means that you can use one for a drink and one to hold a snack cup.The fabric on the seat is soft, and my kiddo finds it comfy; in fact, she finds it comfy enough that she's switched over to using it full-time. This is not the first Graco product we've bought; this is one in a line of Graco items we've bought over the years because of the high quality of their seats--and this booster is no exception. It seems very well constructed, it's easy to move around if you need to swap it into another car, and the features appear to be designed with both the parent and the kiddo in mind. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone in the market for a booster seat!
