We have only used Diono seats since our daughter was born and she is thrilled to be ready for a no back booster. These have good sized seats and I love the option of using only one cup holder, both cupholders or none depending on your space. They are well built and sturdy.

My kids enjoy the seats. They are built well. Solid seats. I saw some complaints about missing cup holders. There is actually convenient storage for these under both seats and that’s where they were for me.

Like ease of placement. Comfortable. Grandkids love them. 9&10 year olds. Had high back boosters.

First off, this comes in 2 pack which is a good deal. Not only that, the quality of this Diono backless booster is great. The cushion is well padded. The covers are easy to remove and are washable. The instruction manual is pretty straightforward.Disclaimer: I do not claim to be an expert in carseat safety. I am testing these carseats for the purpose of reviewing it and giving insights as to how I used it.I tested if these backless booster seats could actually fit 3-in-a-row. I have a Honda Odyssey and I placed 2 of these side-by-side a Graco SlimFit3 LX carseat on the 3rd row. It does fit but with the following compromises:1. I did not attach both cupholders of the 2 Diono backless boosters.2. The Graco SlimFit3 LX was placed in the middle to accommodate seat belt requirement for Diono backless boosters. While this looks doable according to our configuration, it is pretty snug with putting 3 car seats together. It is also hard for the kids to buckle up the seat belt and would need an adult's help (children younger than 8.)While these backless boosters are well made and of good quality, I would still prefer to use a backless booster that has a tether for the lower anchors. That said, I would still recommend this product but would be best for bigger kids (on the higher range of the height weight requirement.)

These are listed as fitting "3 across most midsize SUVs". Just a heads up, they are not the narrowest and these might not fit 3 across if that's what you intended on purchasing them for. I previously have fit Clek Fllo, Chicco MyFit and Graco Slimfits back there without issue. I've attached photos of the current Cosco booster seats that we were upgrading and these Diono seats next to a Maxi Cosi Rodifix (even more narrow than the Diono). These Diono seats were a disappointing experience and I haven't decided if we'll return them or not.Not only was it highly difficult and requires your entire body weight to push when assembling the belt guides out of the box, they sent one wrong belt guide and I had to contact them for a replacement. I put the seats into my 2018 Ford Expedition and these Diono backless boosters do not fit. The seats cover the buckles up and make it impossible for the kids to buckle. They will, however, fit in the middle row which I was avoiding due to ease of kids getting in and out. The only way Diono will fit 3 across are if each actual seat is a full size seat, with no 60/40 type bench seats. That leaves ALL back rows of mini-vans and other kid friendly SUV vehicles out of the question.Diono, you can do better. We have 4 kids in boosters and one FF harness. It's vital that we have safe, budget friendly, easy to use booster seats that can fit in the standard family sized vehicles. That being said, I appreciate the functionality of the nesting cupholders.

I scoured the internet for slim carseats and it was hard to find up to date information. I learned that a vehicle's bench width is called "hip room". The Suburban and Tahoe both have 49.4 inches of hip room. So I set off to find the slimmest measurements for the carseat itself. I didn't take into account how they fit together. Some have bulky pieces on the front end of the seat that don't work well with others. When I found these seats that work like puzzle pieces I knew I was on to something. I already had a Diono forward facing car seat for our Jeep (which also has no room in the second row). So my forward facing car seat is slim but not made to puzzle piece with these booster seats. I will tell you that the two boosters do not fit in my third row with a Graco transitions/wayz. That was the forward facing car seat i already had in my third row. I now have enough room to safely seat my family for the upcoming arrival of my fifth child (who will be in the second row). Thank you for reading.
