Bought this item for my 8 year old granddaughter, she loves it, easy to use and hold . Great item however no belt clip is included but can probably find one easy enough. Over all great sturdy product that works great.

My 14 year old is obsessed with Guardians of the Galaxy and the soundtracks. He wants to listen to them Peter Quill style, so I got this Walkman knock off for him. He loves it. I’m going to order some headphones and blank tapes so he can make his own mix tapes like I did as a kid. It has a radio, speakers, and records. Nice product.

Im fairly giving 3 stars. I would rate this 5 stars if the unit worked. I originally bought this as a gift for my cassette loving uncle to play in his car. The unit worked great so he asked me to get him a second unit for his home. The second unit didn’t have the same audio output volume as the first one. Okay, fine, defects happen. I exchange for a new one and the replacement didn’t work at all. We are now in the process of getting a THIRD replacement. I hope this one works.

This is an update to my initial review below: After seeing my review the company reached out to me and went above and beyond to make it right! I am grateful to the customer service (specifically Diane) for their quick and kind action. I will probably buy from them again.————————————————Original ReviewI bought this twice. The first time it went out after several months. I thought it was just something we did. So I bought it again. Dumb of me! In a month the exact same problem. It's in the sound. If you turn up the volume it makes a weird noise then stops playing. This happens on radio & tape mode.

I bought this to mostly listed to old cassette, voice recordings and learned it came with a mic and started to do new ones as well. Overall, I'm happy with the function and quality! It's a great for the $$ spent! Bought a 2nd one for my kid so she could play around with it and make her own recordings!

Upon receiving the Cassette Player/Recorder I tried every feature and was pleasantly surprised that everything worked as described. The speaker is excellent with or without headphones. It records and plays back as well as my expensive tape recorder. The number of AM/FM stations that I can tune in far exceeds what I get on my clock/radio and the antenna is a plus. It comes with ear buds that are very comfortable and a User Manual that is very easy to understand. I highly recommend this product and like it so much that I will be ordering 2 more as gifts.

This recorder player is nice. the sound is good....it records well. The radio stations come in pretty clear. This is a throw back item and I am enjoying it. Will record things that are happening when our family gets together and I also want to record private messages for special family members. It is more compact than a DVD player and the tapes are cheaper to buy and easy to use.

I purchased this radio for the main reason of hearing songs that I hadn't heard/listened to in over 35 years. This model is very light weight and portable to go in a purse or bookage but will need an adapter piece that plugs into the wall which slightly annoyed me. And I wish it had the classic base/boom blast as that was lacking. Otherwise, the radio portion quality works just fine as and the reception on the stations are very clear. The cassette deck itself is a little stiff but with constant usage it should move with ease. Overall, this radio is good purchase in the event of an emergency when there's no light/or internet power outage or just feeling a little NOSTALIC for some good fashion music.

The sound quality is slightly tinny, but what do you expect for something this small? ( 4 cm x 9 cm x 12.5 cm, and 10 oz. ). It has a clear instruction manual, but you do not need it. The completely mechanical (not digital) controls are straightforward. It has a 4.5 V DC input jack, a microphone jack, and an earphone jack. The sturdy box includes a little microphone and earbuds that can be plugged into their respective jacks. I tested the AM/FM radio, the microphone, and the earbuds. Not concert hall quality, but they all worked fine. If you do not want to run it on two AA batteries, you can plug the included cord into the DC input jack and a standard USB power output and it runs fine. And yes, you can turn on its radio, press the Record button, and record your favorite radio program. In summary, a/the real deal.
