Unlike the first two trackers I bought (which Amazon won't let me write reviews on) this actually works! You get what you pay for. It seems rather straight forward. I will be looking to adjust some of the notification parameters which I hope will be doable, but even if not, this does what it promises without needing a computer engineering degree.

...but my experience was not consistent enough to keep it.Some issues I encountered...- even though the map update setting was 'auto', the position of the vehicle on the map did not change without having to go back to the main screen and then to the map screen- notifications were inconsistent: some days the notifications worked while others the app reported the vehicle's position correctly yet did not provide any notifications whatsoever- occasionally, the app indicated that the vehicle was off when it was actually on, yet provided accurate up-to-date GPS coordinates- the app stopped reporting telemetry data in middle of a trip, (the status lights on the device indicated that it was still connected) but did not receive it later i.e. the device does not appear to cache the telemetry data in the event of communication issues.It would be nice if the following were provided:- a web interface instead of app-only access- diagnostic tools such as a cellular/GPS signal meter indicator, as provided by other products; this would aid in troubleshooting issues.

*(Review Update 20250218)*. There is a new version/update to the app. The update of *(1.35MB) will NOT fix the app already installed on your phone. I had to force stop the app, delete app cache and files, uninstall, and THEN install fresh from app store **(115MB). The install took about 2 minutes after the download. Logged right back in and everything came back to as expected.The app "moto watchdog" is no longer working.Thus this product is useless now. No more alerts, no new subscription updates, no tracking history, no travel history.

I researched and looked at quite a few options for GPS. Too many subscriptions required. This GPS has no monthly or annual payments, buy it and it's yours. And it works really well.Tells when your vehicles is started, when its turned off, when it has arrived somewhere, when is on the go, speed.You get written dialogue of where it goes as well as a map to follow in real time. It's just a great little GPS and so easy to install, takes about a minute.It just plugs in under the dashboard to the left of steering wheel into the odb2 port which was started being put into vehicles in 1996. If you want a gps to track your vehicle, you have just found it.And no one paid me anything or gave me any discount for this review.

I don't write a ton of Amazon reviews, but I was blown away by this product. It took less than 5 mintues to set it up and now I get everything I need to keep tabs on my new teen driver. Trip reports, speeding alerts, out of area notifications, etc. Our son is 16 and has to drive 20 miles each way to his school. This device gives us peace of mind and he seems to dig it too... It's a must have for fleet or family folks and the fact that there is NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION fee almost seems too good to be true, but it works and works well! Nicely designed app, easy to use. I have no complaints.

I purchased two of them easy installation easy app all that’s good but on the home screen, it will tell you my vehicles in the driveway. For the most part, told you when the car turned on and off doesn’t tell you the time just hours or minutes ago it doesn’t tell you where. It helps knowing where vehicle at for the price and free subscription.
