Fit true to size. Gave to my sister who has diabetic neuropathy and always has cold feet. She swears by them. She stated they keep her feet warm and she is able to sleep well because her feet aren’t freezing all night.

The first time I put these socks on, I gave an audible , "Ahhhh..." My first impression was that they were wonderfully comfortable. The longer I had them on my feet, however, they began to itch a little. I'm not sure whether that was due to the wool content or the alpaca, but, if you are sensitive to either of these, it might be best to avoid these socks. My biggest criticism would have to be that after only two wears, I began to notice thinning in the heels, and it wasn't too much after that when I had worn a large whole on the bottom of both heels. They are expensive for having lasted such a short time. It's a shame really because on first feel they had the potential to be a truly wonderfully comfortable sock!

I have been buying alpaca socks for family for a few years, and I have to say my favorite company is gowith alpaca — they’re socks (these in particular) fit perfectly on my mom and sister - they each got a small - and th love them! They are wearing them now and it’s cold outside (even the kitchen because of floors are a bit cold!) and they’re more than comfortable. They have lots of cushion , keep feet dry and , of course, warm. Love the variety of colors. Also lovee that these are crew. I previously was always buying the high socks which was hit or miss when gifting - this was 100% hit! I’m actually joked and said I need a pair for myself…well idk if that’s a joke anymore lol!

I liked the product at first. They were quite warm. But it took so little time for the socks to wear off. They are now practically useless.

I have bought for decades many socks for winter cold weather, not caring about the cost, as long as they kept my feet warm and were comfortable. Most failed, despite amazing claims they made. Well these surprised me, normally I would only purchase high cost socks for keeping the feet warm, but amazingly, these are very warm, best I have found so far, extremely comfortable for my 10.5 double E wide size feet, and not only that, are perfect in my hunting boots. I am definitely happy with these, and will be buying more in the future.
