10/10 I stand by govee being the best lighting products you can buy regardless of price. Their stuff just works and never fails. Super easy to use and customize. Zero complains as always

Love govee lights but be cautious on the older modles they still sell. For example these do not have wifi. Everything is bluetooth and it's way more inconvenient. You can find newer models that work a lot better for the same price. Do your research make sure it has WIFI

I bought these for our patio and they did not disappoint. We love that you can change them for any holiday or season. The illumination setting is great for BBQing if you need it a little brighter. I have them set up with an Aqara door sensor to come on during a certain time if the backdoor is opened. We have many Govee products and they have not disappointed us yet.

These are great. I use them on my back patio and they really give a soft illuminating light that is nice on the eyes but bright enough to see from the street. The app works great and the lights have lasted 2 years.

These string lights work great with the Govee app, but do not have Wi-Fi connectivity, just Bluetooth. This model is not Alexa compatible because of the lack of Wi-Fi. A similar model of Govee string lights does have Wi-Fi connectivity.

This was my second time purchasing these lights. Great colors and options. The app isn’t terribly difficult to use and can be quite fun to play around with the endless options. I’d still like to see a bit more ingenuity in the app and have better integration when hooking two strands together so if they are doing a running color-change pattern it would be seamless between both strands and work as one. Otherwise, these are great and have been holding up over the years. Granted, I have only used them as holiday lights, but they have endured being put up and taken down numerous times. (They are cafe lights so they are spaced further apart than holiday lights. I got creative with zip ties to get the lights closer together. I suppose it would be great if the company could develop an option of these that had lights closer together to accomplish this.) I use a smart plug with them and can just have Alexa turn them on and off while they “remember” the chosen pattern and I don’t have to access the app each time. Good value. Well made. Very happy with the purchase.

I had originally brought these lights for my pergola in my back yard, but when winter arrived, they were not getting much use. I decided to move them to the front of the house to serve as christmas lights and they worked out perfect.I have used outdoor string lights in the past but they dont last very long at all, as despite claiming that they are weather resistant, after a few years bulbs or the whole string become damaged from cold and snow. This set is definitely to most durable set i have owned for this purpose.Having the ability to theme the bulbs is also a big bonus for year round use.It is a little annoying that you need to be in wifi range to to active the lights, but other than that i love all govee lights!

I tend to buy Govee products because they're generally supported well by the home automation community, so I have 4 or 5 different products from them. These seemed like a great addition when I ordered them, but now that I've had a chance to use them for a year, I'm not impressed. They're listed as outdoor lights on Amazon, but they're not built for the outdoors. You'll have to protect the "controller" with a waterproof box (I did). Even then, they can fail; I've had one string die already and it no longer powers up. Of course, they failed just outside the 1 year warranty so I'm stuck with a $100 paperweight. These builbs are spaced pretty far apart... more than I would have expected. Of course, if you do the math in your head - 30 bulbs, 96 feet - they're spaced about 3 feet apart. This might be fine for your setup (and I made it work). Not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice if they were a little closer together. Finally, they're pretty dim. I expected a bit more light out of these, and I think they're the dimmest Govee product I own. Combine all of the above, and I just can't recommend these as a good value.
