Skewers were exactly the size I want. I have some skewers that were not as wide so these were perfect. Regrettably, the case for the skewers was received ripped or torn. If the case was not torn then easily 5 stars. Hopefully, the company can send a replacement.UPDATE 10-1-2024Seller never reached out regarding torn case for skewers. Very disappointed hence 3 stars. Very easily could be a 5 star with a replacement of a case. Decided not to return skewers as I’ve already used them. Guess I’ll use some good ol’ duct tape.

These are hard to find because they are 27 “ long and 1” wide. They are excellent for preparing Shashlik Kabab’s. They are steady and strong, perfect for my 24” Kamado Joe. They are stainless steel, and have a good price. The only thing they need to improve on is the storage bag they use. It is of very poor quality. After I Washed and cleaned the skewers, and inserted them in the bag, the bottom of the bag started to tear. Had to reinforced the bottom and eventually I will need to look for a better quality bag in order to store them.

These skewers have some pros and cons.Pros:They are long enough to sit on the widest point of the rim of my 22" weber kettle with enough overhang for me to handle the ends to flip them(most of the one's I have tried are several inches too short for this).They are very sturdy, they don't bend much under the weight of the meat.They hold their shape well at very high temps.They are wide enough to keep the meat from rotating on the skewers during flipping.Cons:They are too wide for smaller chunks of meat, I'd say the minimum size I would put on this skewew is ~2".The pointy end is very blunt, even the very tip is rounded off. I ended up sharpening and beveling the ends on 3 of them(that's all that I generally need to feed my family).It think this is probably intended more for kabobs made from ground meat and it would work perfectly for that.

I just received my order today so I can’t speak of their long term durability. However on my initial review of these skewers is positive. The length and width are a perfect size and they are stored in an included handy leather type of bag. The skewers themselves are strong and have comfortable wooden handles.The wide flat blades will be good for ground meat kabobs as well. I’m thinking of purchasing another set for my camping trips for cooking over an open fire. This is a good purchase and I think if they are properly taken care of they should last a long time.

I was given the seal of approval by the father in law that these were a blessing for kabobs. If using a persian grill these will be perfect. These are wide enough for the kabob. You will not be disappointed with these, the case works great for storage as well. They are very well made. Reminds me I need to buy another set for myself and my brother in law. Don't pass these up because they are not a name brand.

I purchased these to make Adana kebabs on my grill and these skewers worked perfectly. Because they lacked handles, I worried they would be difficult to manage with a bulky oven mitt. Yet, I didn't even need to use a mitt because they ends stayed cool to the touch.One thing I failed to consider was the need to chill my prepared kebabs in the refrigerator before grilling and these skewers are longer than our fridge shelves are deep. I quickly realized the ends can extend them into the door shelf space with a bit of maneuvering, but you should keep that in mind when considering your needs.Overall, these skewers are definitely worth their price. Their size and weight are impressive - Medieval almost. Their sturdiness should accommodate large cuts of meat. I imagine that seven skewers are more than enough for most recipes (I only needed four). The kit includes a nylon storage bag, but they also have drilled holes on the ends to allow you to store them on a hook. Big thumbs up on this product.
