I picked the 3 inch thick foam cushion to boost up an old sofa as a last resort before discarding it and was amazed and delighted at how firm and comfortable the sofa is now. I almost wish I had gotten the two inch because it's almost too high to climb up on, but once you do, it's great! It was super easy to use but I would suggest that you have it where you want it when you take it out of the box and before you cut the bag holding it in place, because it will unroll and become a little harder to move. That said it's not really too heavy just awkward to move. We'll worth the price. I may try getting another one and cutting it up for chair cushions.

This material is the most incredible stuff I've ever worked with. It's the perfect firmness, but extremely soft. Equivalent to a firm memory foam, but super easy to cut to size. I'm using it to build a custom recliner and it's amazing in every way.

I explored many different brands and options from a lot of different places before settling on this one for our sofa. It's a convertible sofa-bed with a thin steel bar frame, so the cushions had badly sagged and flattened over the decade it has been used. We don't have the money to replace it yet, though, so we wanted to simply replace the existing cushions since the back and arms were still fine.Initial sit reaction was a good laugh at how firm it was! Now that the fibers are relaxed, it's honestly an EXCELLENT bed just as it is! Sometimes one of us just sleeps on the couch for the night because we fell asleep on accident while laying down. I can forsee this replacement lasting a few years easily with daily use!
