Works great for smaller pipe with silver solder but 5/8 pipe is near impossible with this tip.

I like it’s weight and portability. It’s hot enough to braze but give or yourself a little more time if you’re used to an oxy/acy rig. Great for attic work. I carry a bottle of water for an emergency fire extinguisher and hydration. I also like soul music from the 60s. Nevermind. It’s loud. I mean the rig. Earplugs maybe. Idk.

I wasn't sure about this product till I used it. But has a shut off and spark built in. And even being on for 20 minutes the head wasn't extremely hot so no chance of burning anything when putting it down. Definitely a good product.
