After a few years, my TV would take forever to come on and while I really wanted to buy a new 4K, I had to try this. I know how to solder but never used the cool solder sucker so after a quick video on it, I started removing the back panel of the TV to find the swollen caps. I read that you are supposed to take a screw driver and put it across the largest cap to discharge any built up power so please be sure to research that. After about 30 minutes of swapping the caps out, I put the TV back together and BAM, instant on.Highly recommend giving this a go before getting a new TV, for 20 bucks you cannot go wrong; granted now I have no excuse to trash the old 1080P.
