These are high quality. The gates are painted metal, and once assembled, are very sturdy. Being metal is nice because if your ball even slightly touches the base of a gate, you get a chime sound, making it very easy to know you hit the base. I use the 2" gate about 18 inches away, and it helps me to know if I am slightly pulling or pushing my putts. I use them indoors; haven't taken them to the course. If you want to work on your putting, or perhaps evaluate different putters, grips, putting methods, stances, etc., I would highly recommend this product. (I have a Blast Motion sensor that I use to train my tempo, speed and face at impact, and these gates are a nice companion to ensure that my aim is correct as well.)

Really likec this product. Easy to use/ can use anywhere/ keep it in my car for use on the practice green. Has really improved my allignment issues. Its a great value/ sturdy

Comes with 3 different sizes of gates. Assembly is easy, no tools needed. I’ve only used the smallest gate (2”) on 3 to 5 foot putts so far, however I’ve found it to be a humbling experience. I put the gate about 2 feet from the hole and many putts that I thought were perfect and would have gone in the hole will touch and deflect off the side of the gate showing that my stroke was just slightly, imperceptibly, off. This degree of imprecision may not matter when you are putting a 3 footer in a tournament but as you move back to 6 to 10 feet, you will be missing the hole on those deflected putts, even with a perfect green read. You really have to concentrate and be consistent with your putting stroke to consistently get through the 2” gate. Using the gate also trains you to focus on an intermediate spot (ie, where the gate is) and the start line for your putt which can help with breaking putts.I should note that you could just use two tees to create a gate but you would need to measure the distance between the tees each time and if you’re putting on a synthetic surface, you may not be able to insert tees. I’m putting indoors on a synthetic surface that tees can’t be inserted in, so these are ideal.In summary, if you’re looking for more consistency in your putting stroke, this is a great accessory for putting drills.

A very helpful tool to use for putting alignment. Can be used on the putting green at the course or on thecarpet at home. The weighted legs keep them in place even if your ball is off line.
