Your cart is empty.This lap harp music is designed for TK O'Brien's Standard, Deluxe and Custom Lap Harps. It does NOT fit First Act, Music Maker or Melody Harp. The songs are in the key of G and show the note values so when you play the song you pluck the string where you see the note and follow the connecting lines. As simple as that! Having the actual note to look at helps if you want to learn to read standard music notation and helps you with timing for playing the song. For songs that have multiple verses you repeat at the start. Some songs may have specific playing instructions. Sheet of words to the songs included where applicable. The song cards measure 4 1/2 inches at the top, 12 inches at the bottom, and 7 5/8 inches from top to bottom.

The harps that this music was written for, will not play even 1 full octave, so unable to play any of the songs. Big time waste of money.

The beautiful hymns thrilled my sister in her nursing home...touched her spirit deeply to hear the sweet old music once again! Youngsters love to sit and pluck and actually play hymns themselves! Easy to follow the notes one by one as they go up and down the little strings.

Useful for learning to play the lap harp and got me going quickly. You only get a portion of most tunes, so you have to transcribe the missing parts to get the whole song. But this helped me master the instrument very quickly.
