I needed it to hold the Stained glass Tiffany Lotus Blossom lamp shade I made. The lamp base I had didn't not have a strong enough and tall enough stem to hold the heavy lamp shade.

This solved a big problem for me -- I needed a new lampshade and a new harp for a very special vintage lamp. I found and purchased a new shade, but could not install it because I could not locate a 13" harp. This one arrived quickly and is the perfect height, supports the rather heavy shade just fine, and my 60 year-old lamp looks great. No, this harp is not as "heavy duty" as the old harps were, but none of the new ones are, and it does the job just fine.

I just finished making a new lampshade, but it sat a little low on the lamp so I needed to change out the harp. This arrived fast and was good quality not flimsy at all perfect.

I was afraid that this 13" harp would be flimsy and wobbly but was surprised at how well made and sturdy it is. Would highly recommend. It came 2 days earlier than expected and was well packaged. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The quality of the product is great. I will give a 5 star if it comes with the lamp shade locking nut. Lucky I have one matching the color quite well. Otherwise I will return it. Keep this in mind before ordering this.
